Hitoyoshi located in Chuo Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture is a specialty handmade monaka wafer shop and is popular as a new signature Osaka souvenir. The wafers made from 100% Japanese glutinous flour are crispy and go very well with the miso (soybean paste) filling made from organic Japanese white miso and white kidney beans produced in Hokkaido as well as a coarse bean filling using red beans produced in Hokkaido. It sells signature products such a coarse bean filled wafer and a burdock wafer as well as western-style wafers including a rum raisin flavor and a lemon and ginger flavor which are sold according to the season. As the wafers and fillings are separate, putting them together just before eating allows you to enjoy the crispy texture.

谷町筋沿いにある最中の人気店。最中の具がカップに入っており、別の袋に入ったパリパリの皮に入れて一口でパクリ。お客様への手土産に良く使う。店主のお母さんの気遣いが凄く良い。
一回通り過ぎてしまいました(笑)

とても小さなお店なので、一回通り過ぎてしまいました(笑)お砂糖控えめの要冷蔵の餡がさっぱりしていて、普段あまり和菓子を食べない私でも、一度に何個も食べられます。食べる直前に自分で餡を挟んで食べるタイプなので、最中の皮が唇に張り付くこともなく(笑)、パリパリして香ばしい皮も楽しめます。
手土産にオススメ♪
