    This shop selling small Japanese articles is located at the front entrance to Ryoanji Temple, the sightseeing spot known for its rock garden, and it stocks a broad range of items that mostly include accessories made with Kyoto printed silk and Nishijin silk fabrics. One of its popular products is the hexagon-shaped “nejiiri-bako” box that is made with Nishijin silk gold brocade; it opens with a gentle twist, and can be used as an accessory case. In addition, the shop is full of Kyoto accessories that make perfect souvenirs such as Goshuin-cho cases, clasped pouches, furoshiki wrapping cloths, incense and trinkets.
