    Itosaisai, JA Itoshima Market sells a wide range of fresh produce harvested in Itoshima, including vegetables, rice, meat, fish, delicatessen and even flowers. Every kind of fruit and vegetable is produced differently by each farmer, and it is possible to compare them by taste-testing them. It is also possible to buy the high-quality Itoshima brand meats such as Itoshima black beef, and the Itoshima brand pork, Genkai Pork, here. The market is located approximately 13 minutes on foot from the JR Hatae Station.

    期待が大きかっただけに、 ただの大きなスーパーといった感じでそれ以上に訴求するものがあまりなく、がっかりしました。 春の午前中に訪れましたが、 道の駅だと思って訪れればそれなりだと思いますが、ここを目的に糸島を訪れるほど良い品は見当たりませんでした。

    This Fukuoka City market with a long history started in 1918, when a few fresh fish traders began selling fish from a cart at the Yagihashi Bridge crossing the Nakagawa River. It is a lively place with events throughout the year, including the “Zenzai Festival” held every January and the “set bargain sale” held on the third Thursday of each month where all stores offer goods and fresh foodstuffs at prices at half or 1/3 of their regular price.

    Come learn about the good-old days of life in Hakata at this tourist attraction. The exhibition hall, Machiya Hall, and souvenir shop are all connected, and the Machiya Hall was originally built in the mid-Meiji period (late 1800s) before it was moved and reconstructed in its current location. You can also see a demonstration of how Hakata fabric was traditionally woven. Under the guidance of experienced craftsmen, you can try your hand at painting ceramics (fee required) or Hakata fabric weaving yourself. It's just a five-minute walk from Gion Station.

    A facility where visitors can purchase fresh agricultural products picked that morning, seasonal fruits, vegetables, and foods. The town of Tanushimaru is also one of Japan's top producers of garden shrubs and trees and a full array are stocked at this facility as well. Visitors can enjoy lunch at Yume Kitchen, an all-you-can-eat buffet style restaurant serving dishes made with fresh, locally grown agricultural products.

    桃の時期になると、夫婦でよく伺います。今年は、桃が1箱7~10個入っていて、2,300~2,800円前後でした。 産地だけあって品も良いし、安いように感じます。タイミングがあえば加工用の桃が、1箱1,000円前後で販売されており、自宅で食すには十分な美味しさです。 近くに道の駅もありますが、ここはJA直営なので、地元の方も多く利用されていて、値段も安いように感じます。

The hall sells crafts and specialty products from Fukuoka and also has a dining hall able to accommodate large groups. The hall also houses the Kurume Kasuri Shiryokan museum and boasts Sogo tenji-jyo (a large exhibition space). Events are periodically held at the hall and the facility sees many visitors, particularly tourist groups.

    研修でこちらを利用しました。 昼食を持っていってなかったので、こちらの中にあるレストランを利用できたので便利でした。

The facility is visited by large numbers of tourists.

    博多中心にいろいろな九州みやげの揃うおみやげ屋さん兼食事処です。博多といえば!な明太子も、試食が置いてあるのがうれしいところです。博多ならではかは謎ですが、プチプチしたいくらのような丸がつまったキーホルダーがかわいいなと思い、購入しました。

They also open up travelling markets selling agricultural products outside Asakura City on an irregular basis.

They have a variety of handicrafts and activities to take part in and hold monthly changing programs such as their Showa period Games Activities and Camp as well as their Farming Experience. The museum features a shop that sells intellectual training toys and local specialty products and also has a restaurant that serves meals made with local ingredients. In the fall they hold the Yame Joyo Warabe Festival.

    駐車場があり、休憩しに来る人が多いです。こぢんまりとしたレストランがあり、そばなどを食べることができます。

Located in the Unoshima Fishing Port, on the first floor the establishment sells fresh, seasonal fish delivered direct by the fishermen themselves. The establishment has a fish preserve and visitors can see the seafood swimming vigorously within. In the second-floor restaurant, customers can enjoy sashimi and other fresh, seasonal seafood delights. Note that all of the restaurant's dishes are limited in quantity and as such it's best to get here as early as possible.

    A plant-based dye workshop located along National Route 322. They use natural dyes and traditional techniques to produce dyed clothes without using any chemical dyes. Alongside nearly 400 different colored patterns including Sakura-zome dyed using only cherry twig with buds before blooming and their Yakusugi-zome dyed using the leaves of Yakusugi Cedars they also offer hands-on dye workshops (reservation required).

    旧秋月街道をずっと上って秋月城跡に曲がる道の少し先、右側にあります。草木染の製品が置いてあります。斜め前に工房もあり体験もできるし、秋月城跡の近くにはギャラリーもあります。桜で染めた上品なものがたくさんありました。

Sagemon, hanging ornaments, are believed to have originated in the koto (Japanese harp) plectrum case toys castle ladies in waiting would once make with leftover kimono fabric scraps.
