- Resort Kumano Club is hidden away about a 15-minute drive from JR Kumano-shi Station. It has several kinds of outdoor hot spring baths where visitors can bathe in the open air in hot water from Shin Yunokuchi Onsen, whether they are on a day trip or stay overnight. Since the resort has left the natural environment as unchanged as possible, guests can escape their everyday lives for a while amidst the fields and forests of Kumano. The use of Kumano cedar in building the guest rooms creates a soothing atmosphere, and visitors can relax in a luxurious way that is possible only in the countryside. There are four types of guestrooms, all of them suites, all of them built to afford a view of Kumano's natural environment. The resort also takes great care with its meals, and guests can enjoy fine cuisine that makes use of the natural bounty and ingredients of Kumano.

- This day use hot spring facility is in Kihoku Town, Kitamuro County, Mie Prefecture. The spacious, high-ceilinged indoor bath uses sodium-hydrogen carbonate spring water, which is said to be effective in the recovery from fatigue and promoting health. They also have a paid hot spring stand where you can enjoy the spring water more fully. There is a campground and minshuku pension next door, so many of the guests there stop by for a soak.

こぢんまりとした温泉ですが、トロトロの温泉でちょっと浸かっただけでお肌がぬるぬるになります。金額も大人1人500円程度で嬉しい。脱衣室に返金型のロッカーがあります。

当初、海のきわの宿を探した折りに予約しましたが、予定変更のためキャンセルしました。 今回近所を通過しましたので写真だけ撮っておきました。 国道311号線から分岐した梶賀という漁村の入口にあって、目の前の岸壁には自前の漁船が２隻でしたか係留されていました。 ２食付きプラン料金も手頃でしたが、また旨い魚を食べに寄りたいと思います。

熊野古道に行った際にこちらのホテルにお世話になりました。和室のプランで予約したのですが、２ＤＫくらいの広さがあるお部屋でした。古さは否めませんが、料金もリーズナブルな料金でとても良かったです。

JRの鵜殿駅の目の前にあるホテルで、駅をでるともう見えています。どちらかといえば昭和的な感じのホテルで設備的には新しくありませんが、料金はリーズナブルでしたのでいいホテルだと思います。

Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
