A doteyaki stew restaurant located in Naka Ward, Nagoya City. Established in 1949, this long-standing restaurant is famous for its continuing to painstakingly craft its signature doteyaki according to the same time-honored recipe. In addition to doteyaki created with plenty of Hatcho miso, the restaurant also offers dotemeshi beef sinew over rice, dote-omelet rice, and other rice bowl dishes.

評判は以前から知っていたが、中々平日に行く事が出来なかった。１７時頃ならと思い入ったが、既に満席。しかし、それ以前に来て退席する人が多く、少し待っただけで入れた。おでん、どて煮ともに味が染み込んでいて、大変美味。お酒も熱燗が丁度合っていて、素晴らしく、大変満足した。一人３０００円ちょっとで、満足させてもらえるのは有り難い。ご馳走様でした。

A Japanese restaurant located on the grounds of Nagoya Castle. Here you can enjoy famous Nagoya kishimen flat noodles. The restaurant also serves a wide variety of other dishes, from tebasaki karaage deep fried chicken wings to miso kushikatsu (skewers of fried food), breaded pork skewers covered with a miso sauce. In addition to an indoor seating area, the restaurant also has an outdoor seating area from which diners can take in the surrounding seasonal scenery. A popular establishment which sees many tourists visiting Nagoya Castle, during lunchtime lines of waiting customers can form outside the door.

2019年4月に名古屋城を観光した際にランチ目的で利用しました。温かいきしめんを注文。お揚げとワカメと鰹節だけのシンプルなきしめんでしたが、味はそこそこ美味しくて満足できました。

This shop is in ESCA the underground shopping area near the Shinkansen entrance at Nagoya station in Tsubaki-cho, Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City. They specialize in hitsumabushi eel on rice. Their signature dish features aromatic roasted eel with crispy skin with the same sauce they've used since their founding. They also serve meal sets with grilled whole eel and unseasoned grilled eel. You can also get eel, kakiage fritters, and chopped tuna on rice. They have meal sets where you can choose two small rice bowls from the above.

I went to this restaurant as it was very near to the hotel where I stayed. Although not a fan of eel, I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. I chose the set with rice and miso soup...

A restaurant located on the grounds of Atsuta-jingu Shrine, one of the three great Jingu shrines. Since it first opened, Miya Kishimen has been dedicated to using only high quality ingredients to create delicious food. The restaurant makes dried noodles, semi-raw noodles, and frozen noodles, making use of different and specifically developed production methods for each. The restaurant’s dried noodles are made using a technology which enables them to be folded which was first developed in Japan. Enjoying the restaurant’s noodles surrounded by refreshing greenery is truly an experience. A six minute walk from JR Jingu-mae Station.

The portion was average, small portion of pork cutlet. Free japanese tea and water. Chewy noodles and the taste was average too.

A long-established Japanese restaurant that counts more than 120 years since it was founded, the Yachiyo Main Store is located within the verdant Okazaki Park. Their kaiseki course cuisine that makes use of local production for local consumption is well-regarded, and among that cuisine they use the famous local Haccho Miso and Binchotan charcoal, and their famous Ki-no-Me Dengaku (a Japanese dish made of baked bean curd and served with bean paste and pepper leaf buds) grilled with the Yachiyo Main Store’s traditional technique is a masterpiece that can only by tasted here. It is approximately 10 minutes on foot from Okazakikoen-mae Station on the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line.

This Japanese izakaya pub is just a three-minute walk from Sakae Station. A pub abundant in Nagoya cuisine since its founding in 1956. This famous pub has appeared in a variety of media including magazines. Gomitori is always lively with salary workers and tourists until it closes at 5 a.m. Try a variety of Nagoya gourmet such as fried chicken made from Nagoya Chochin Chicken and chicken wings, karaage fried chicken, miso kushikatsu (fried skewers), and miso oden (one-pot dish).

We had the frogs legs, chicken wings, Oden and kushimen which were yummy. The staff was quick and efficient. Food came quickly. It was great.
