    The over 80 year old Shitamiya is said to be the founding store serving the popular Kiryu cuisine, cutlets on rice with sauce. In addition to the standard sauce cutlet bowl, visitors can enjoy the flavors of the old-fashioned shop in other dishes such as an egg and cutlet bowl, set meals, and meals catering to women and children are also available. The takeout menu is extensive and it is possible to choose from dishes to have at home, or to eat while exploring Kiryu.

    桐生名物らしいソースカツ丼のお店です。駅からはちょっと遠いですが歩けない距離ではないです。 テーブル席と小上がり席がありますが、どちらも落ち着いた雰囲気で和みます。 ソースカツ丼は枚数が選べますので空腹度によって調整できて便利です。 お味も大変良く、お値段も手頃ですので、大変満足です。 ソースカツ丼食べるならおすすめのお店です。

    This is a restaurant souvenir shop where visitors can enjoy products made with clean water from Mt. Haruna and carefully selected ingredients. It is located 15 minutes from Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange. In addition to the famous Mizusawa Udon noodles, dishes made with a variety of seasonal ingredients can be enjoyed and in the spacious shop, souvenirs are offered as well. The Mizusawa Udon noodles, characterized with slippery yet firm texture, are thickly cut and rated as one of the three most famous udon noodles in Japan. Noodles can be purchased as souvenirs and there are also packs of noodles to stew as well. The Yu-no-hana red bean paste filled buns and local sake are suitable for gifts.

    観光バスがいつも停まっていて、伊香保や水沢観音に行く通り沿いなので目立ちます。 お食事もできて、うどんは絶品♡

    A restaurant in Sukawa, Minakami Town, Tone County. The restaurant is managed by nearby hot spring inn Yujuku Onsen Otakiya Ryokan. It operates out of a moved and restored classic Japanese townhouse that was built in the late Edo period and originally used for silk worm farming. They primarily serve soba and udon noodle dishes. Come try their specialty Gorobe-Udon which mixes wide udon noodles slow cooked together with duck and other ingredients in a miso-based broth. They also serve fried tempura made with locally grown vegetables as well as Kamameshi kettle cooked rice and other dishes.
