    This shop, founded in 1916 in Ogano Town, Chichibu County, Saitama Prefecture, is the birthplace of Chichibu’s famed Waraji Katsudon pork cutlet bowl. This dish includes a satisfying portion of pork cutlet with a shoyu-based sauce. Not only is it tasty and filling, but the reasonable price is attractive, too. People come from all over to enjoy this famous dish.

    家族で5年ぶりに食べに行きましたが、店内に入ること猫のおしっこ臭い匂いが漂っていました。 味は、油身の多いかつでした。家族は二度と行かないと言っていました。 味より店内と接客を考えた方がいいですね。

The restaurant also offers day trip plans which include use of the inn's bathhouse.

The restaurant adjoins the scenic Nagatoro Iwadatami Rocks and the boarding area for the Nagatoro Line Kudari boat ride. The restaurant serves ayumeshi sweetfish rice, ayu sweetfish soba noodles, ayu sweetfish set meals, and other dishes made with ayu sweetfish, as well as kamameshi rice and soba noodles. With a reservation made at least three days in advance, customers can enjoy an ""Ayu-zukushi"" course which includes ayu sweetfish tempura, ayu sweetfish meshi, and a variety of other dishes made with ayu sweetfish. The restaurant is also adjoined by a souvenir shop selling local Nagatoro gifts and products."

    岩畳通りを、昼食の場所を探しながら歩いていて、一番川に近いところにあるこの見晴に入りました。秩父は味噌が名産ということで、「豚みそ漬けの陶板焼き」という看板にひかれました。店内は広い座敷になっていて、窓のすぐ下は岩畳になっており、素晴らしい眺めを楽しみながら食事をしました。

    初めて行きましたが、忙しいのでしょう、常連を優先して、料理を頼んでも忙しくて出来ない又は時間が掛かりますと言われた、しかし隣の常連のオーダーは通るし料理は来る、ビール一杯で帰りました。

    お店の前にたくさんの猪が居たので立ち寄ってみました。 なんと！大好物の猪料理がメニューにあったので早速注文！ 猪の串焼きは、注文を受けてから焼いてくれました。臭みはなく、味がしっかりしておりとても美味しかったです。 ジビエが初めての人にもオススメです。 また秩父に行った時は立ち寄りたいです。
