    "A traditional inn and restaurant situated along Prefectural Route 189 in Otsuka, Ogawa Town, Hiki County. This long-standing establishment was founded in 1748. The current main building, erected in 1933, has been designated a National Tangible Cultural Property. The establishment serves traditional kaiseki course cuisine made with seasonal ingredients. The vaunted ""Chushichi-meshi"" rice, invented by the inn's eighth owner, Chushichi Yagi, is counted as one of the five great rice dishes of Japan alongside the likes of Fukagawa-meshi."

    From lunch through to parties, Chichibu’s drive-in Nagatoroya is a restaurant with a nostalgic feel. Their classic sauce katsu-ju (breaded pork cutlet on rice) made with shredded seaweed instead of cabbage, perfectly complimenting the pork, is a well-loved dish. As well as buta-don (pork on rice), gyokusen set meal, and four course meals for groups of guests, the restaurant also has a wide range of individual dishes on the menu making it a great place for families too.

Fukaya's Niboto was a favorite of local industrialist Shibusawa Eiichi and this restaurant makes theirs with an abundance of Fukaya green onion and other local ingredients as well as their own original hand-made secret sauce. In addition to Niboto and green onion cuisine they offer a course meal menu, lunch menu, side dish menu, and banquet menu.

They use 100% pure Kurobuta black pork sourced from English Berkshire pigs raised on their personal farm. Koedo Kurobuta black pork is raised entirely without antibiotics, and their feed and breeding environment are adapted depending on the season. They offer four different dinner courses and their Chef's Choice Course Meal, which requires advance reservation, is perfect for important celebrations or client dinner. Their lunch menu offers great variety including a Children's Lunch and a Monday and Tuesday only Ladies Small Plate Lunch.

    職場の食事会(30人程)で利用。チェーン居酒屋程ベタな宴会料理オンパレードではなかったけれど、インパクトのある和食とまではいかなかったように思う。従って、飲み放題付きだったがCPももうひとつかな？そう言えば刺身はちょっと良かったかも。個人飲みでアラカルトだったら印象が違った可能性はある。
