"A cafe styled like a classic Japanese house looking out over Lake Inohana. It offers home-roasted coffee and Chinese tea as well as sandwiches made with their homemade bread and desserts in ""Daimyojinyama Village"" that started as a liquor store The charming interior features recycled old timbers, furniture, and tools that were used in a sake brewery for a number of years. The customer tables are all made from wooden tubs that were used for charging sake in the brewery. Their coffee is carefully and individually made from the roasting to the brewing and uses the natural waters of Okumikawa mountainous region. Their baked treats, made with rice flour also used in the sake brewing process, are known for their fragrant scent of rice and chewy texture which will leave you wanting more."

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
