    九州産交ツーリズムのバスツアーで立ち寄りましたが、大観峰は肌寒かったです。雲も出ていて眺めはいまいちでしたね。新型コロナの影響で利用客が減っているため、茶店の料理も少なかったです。カレーパンを食べました。

    This teahouse adjoins the Yamamizuki ryokan inn in Kurokawa Onsen. Situated at the end of a passageway to the side of the main ryokan building, the teahouse serves light meals and desserts. The teahouse' popular pudding soft serve ice cream has a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture and is limited to just 20 customers a day. After enjoying a hot spring bath, the combination of sweet pudding and ice-cold soft serve ice cream makes for a truly exceptional flavor. The teahouse is located a little away from the center of the hot spring district, but thanks to a free, dedicated scheduled shuttle bus, many people stop by here to take a break while visiting the outdoor baths of Kurokawa Onsen.

    This cafe is located a 10-minute drive from the Kurokawa Onsen hot spring district. The cafe serves original Japanese teas, black teas, and drinks, along with desserts which go well with the same, in an establishment filled with gentle sunlight. The cafe's homemade annin tofu gained rapid fame after it was featured in various media; this exquisite dessert is filling and consists of a heaping helping of pudding-like annin tofu covered with plenty of fruit sauce. With an advance reservation, you can also take some home with you. The cafe also sells seasonal items such as cutlery, Japanese tenugui hand towels, accessories, and tableware.

The cafe serves 20 varieties of black tea at any given time ordered from India, Sri Lanka, and other locations around the world; as well as flavored teas suited to Japan's soft water.     This cafe is located close to the Torichosuji tram station. This is the flagship location of a chain of cafes which have been serving authentic coffee at reasonable prices since its establishment in 1945. The Okada Blend, created from a base of Santos and Jamaican beans plus five other varieties, is the cafe's standard. Exquisitely balancing body, bitterness, aroma, and sweetness, this blended coffee is the flavor of a true specialty establishment which has been preserved unchanged since the chain's founding. In the sister establishment on the second floor, you can enjoy the cafe's vaunted coffee along with lunch or dessert.

    This art museum is located halfway between Yamaga's famous Sakurayu hot spring bathhouse and the National Important Cultural Property-designated Yachiyoza theater. The facility operates as a gallery and cafe in a remodeled 100-year-old former silkworm cocoon wholesaler's which exudes a thick, retro atmosphere. The facility offers an activity in which you can make a fuku mayu ningyo (lucky cocoon doll), a traditional craft in Yamaga, in about 30 minutes. The facility also serves fresh roasted coffee and desserts in the adjoining cafe space. The facility is a great place to stop by in between visiting the Yachiyoza theater and walking Yamaga's Buzen Highway.
