The restaurant also serves a wide variety of a la carte dishes, such as batter fried seafood, turban cooked in its own shell, and stewed local splendid alfonsino. The restaurant offers six thirst-quenching and highly individual Izu Kogen Beer varieties straight from the brewery. From the first floor tables, diners can observe a section of the brewery.

"Mein Schloss is a beer hall located a five-minute walk from Hamamatsu Station or a 20-minute drive from the Tomei Hamamatsu Interchange. The building looks like a castle and is distinguished by a clock right over the entrance. It serves local beer made at the brewery located on the grounds. Everything is German, from the restaurant's decor to the origin of the malt to the brewing methods. At any given time, customers can enjoy four kinds of beer, and there are also ""limited editions"" available only for a short time. 会社の飲み会で利用。個室が取れなかったので、他の背中合わせで宴会開始。他グループと遮るものもないというのは今どき珍しい。料理はまあ普通。飲み放題付きだが、やたらとグラス交換等にこだわるのは店のポリシーかそれとも。まあ、飲んでいるとそういうのはあまりどうでもよくなるけど。

Shizuoka Main Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
