- Wakayama Pref. Higashimurogunnachikatsurachou Tsukiji 5-1-3
- A restaurant and bar located right in front of Kii-Katsuura Station. Inside this fashionable restaurant where jazz plays over the stereo, you can enjoy fresh, Japanese-based seafood cuisine prepared with great effort by the master chef. The restaurant takes great pride in its dishes made with fresh local seafood and vegetables; the Katsuura fresh tuna in particular is bodai’s signature item. The fresh chu-toro medium fatty tuna cutlet is particularly popular, a delicate balance of the textures of the crisp outer breading and the inner semi-rare meat. The restaurant also stocks a full alcohol menu including local sakes, shochu, and wine. The lunch seafood rice bowl and sets are also well-reviewed.

- "This locally popular izakaya Japanese style pub in Nachikatsuura Town was founded 25 years ago by an owner who learned the trade in Tokyo. They feature succulent local seafood like fresh maguro tuna sashimi and the delicacy known as shibiwata (maguro stomach). They also serve Western fare like their own pizzas. The shop was featured on the BS-TBS TV network's program “Rui Yoshida's Pub Crawl,"" which made their Gosaku Pizza famous."

- This is a Japanese style pub. Visitors can reach it by walking northwest along the avenue in front of JR Kii-Tanabe Station until they find the pub near the entrance to a narrow lane. It is a popular establishment, and its interior is decorated with the autographs of famous people. It serves seasonal cuisine with an emphasis on seafood, and the seasonal nature of its menu items is one of its chief attractions. Recommended menu items include prawn dumplings and Shinbe Croquettes. Both of these come in set of three pieces, but prawn dumplings can be ordered from one piece. It is a fine place to enjoy this kind of food along with Japanese sake.

Ate here with friends and found the food tasty (chicken teriyaki) and service ok. We were overcharged for one of the items, which was disappointing. I wouldn’t go back.

On the 5th floor of the mall. Good breakfast options with a grill your own fish and a large selection of Japanese and western choices. Nice view looking at the station.
