Tokyo Chuou-ku Ginza 7-9-20 Ginza Lion Building 1F
Established in 1934, this is Japan’s oldest beer hall. The interior of the restaurant has a retro ambience with Japan’s first 250-color glass mosaic and columns decorated with barley motifs. Guests can enjoy a Sapporo beer poured by a beer master with an abundant assortment of snacks. We recommend the small glass of draft Sapporo beer called a Kinguchi Glass with the Ginza Roast Beef that is only available during limited times and with limited quantities.

After a long day touring the area we were given some free time before our mini bus was taking us back, so having seen this the day before, we came in here for a few drinks. Lovely bar with Bavarian...

A facility located near the Genkai Nuclear Power Plant which introduces the mechanisms behind nuclear power generation through an actual sized 13-meter-tall model of a nuclear reactor and a stunning nuclear reactor theater. Visitors can also receive a guided tour of the museum (requires around 40 minutes). The museum is adjoined by a greenhouse with some 200 different plants, a playground, and barbecue ground (advance reservation required), making the place a fun-filled destination for the whole family.

Visited for dinner. Nice restaurant, staffs very friendly, and great food too (lots of meat in combo menu). Their Corn bread is my favorite. They also have some good selections of drinks. Would like...

"This is the classical hotel's main bar, situated on the second floor of the Imperial Hotel's main building. The bar is the last extant vestige in Tokyo of the former Imperial Hotel building designed by architectural legend Frank Lloyd Wright, which was counted a part of international architectural history and even known as the ""Jewel of the Orient."" The Oya tuff stone and terracotta on the walls in the back left of the bar are just as they were in the old Imperial Hotel. These touches and the bar itself recall the elegance and splendor of the former hotel building."

A restaurant and bar in Shibuya produced by eplus. Designed around the concept of an artist's living room used to entertain friends, the establishment also has a live performance space and gallery for displaying the works of artists. Depending on the day, you can enjoy live music along with pasta and other foods as well as craft beer and wine from a wine server in the laid-back living room area or the patio area near center stage.

Unusual for Japan but the service is terrible and the food mediocre at best. This was my first time to visit and it will be my last.

"A long-standing Japanese izakaya pub and restaurant established in 1905 which is located a short distance south of Ogawamachi Station. Identifiable by its old-fashioned exterior and red paper lantern inscribed with characters reading ""dozeu"" (an old way of spelling ""dojo,"" the Japanese word for loach), after dark, this popular restaurant often sees lines of waiting customers forming outside its door. The restaurant has space for 120 to 130 customers, and offers table seating as well as raised tatami mat seating, and one of its draws is its suitability for holding banquets and parties. The restaurant's signature dish is its horse meat sashimi, and customers can choose between two types - marbled with fat or lean red meat. The restaurant also offers a full array of dishes perfect for snacking on, including pickled dishes, yakitori grilled chicken skewers, and kushikatsu fried food skewers."

A two-minute walk from Exit 1 of Toranomon Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Craft Beer Market is a chain of restaurants which seeks to share with customers the appeals of craft beer, and this location is the chain's very first. The restaurant carries a lineup of beers, including ones that even a first-time craft beer drinker is sure to enjoy; the establishment also serves a variety of foods from all over the world which go great with beer. The restaurant's course plans are particularly recommended, like the Light Plan, which comes with a two-hour all-you-can-drink buffet whose menu includes all of the restaurant's craft beers as well as natural wines, and a five dish meal which includes meat dishes.

In Tokyo on business, I did a Google Maps search for craft beer and this place came up first in my results. They had 30 craft beers on tap - majority are Japanese with some from USA and Europe too...

Carrying an outstanding selection of domestic local beers and craft brews, the bar's draught beer menu consists of 20 beers from across the country. The lineup also changes slowly day by day, ensuring you'll encounter new beers here no matter how many times you come. The establishment also puts great effort into its food menu, and dishes particularly recommended which go great with beer include the homemade corned beef, marinated in beer; and the exquisite Buffalo chicken wings slathered in a tasty special sauce.

This establishment is under the direct ownership of Baird Brewing, which has become a top tier name in the craft beer industry in recent years. They have a classic bear hall-style interior where guests can enjoy their signature craft beers along with New Haven-style craft pizza. The wood-based decor inside offers a casual atmosphere that helps first-time visitors feel welcome as soon as they step inside. They have long German-made tables and a thickly built bar counter to accommodate whatever style guests are looking for when they come. Typically, they have at least 20 different beers available across their huge lineup of taps. Smoking is not allowed in the store so you can enjoy the aroma of the beer and the flavors.

This place is said to serve New Haven type pizza, and we decided to try as great fans of Pepes pizza since I worked at Yale 25 years ago. Yes, it was true, the cram pizza reminded us the great...

A sushi restaurant where you can enjoy sashimi made with high class and rare seafood selected by the discerning eye of the owner, a man who previously worked as a wholesaler and in the tuna auction site in Tsukiji Market. Fans from across the country come here seeking the beers poured by Kohei Matsuo, a beer meister who has appeared on television and in other media countless times. In order to gradually and naturally cool its main beer, Asahi Taru-Nama, the restaurant goes so far as to use an ice-chilled server. Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It's hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world's tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you're in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
