A four-minute walk from Exit 2 of Shirokanedai Station on the Toei Subway Mita Line subway. This mature, hideaway-style bar is located on floor B1 of the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo. In addition to the main bar area, which has a counter and fuses Japanese and Western design principles, the bar has three additional spaces - the Living Room, enwrapped in the soft sounds of classic jazz; the smoking-allowed Cigar Lounge; and private dining areas. The establishment also puts great effort into its food menu, and dishes particularly recommended which go great with beer include the homemade corned beef, marinated in beer; and the exquisite Buffalo chicken wings slathered in a tasty special sauce.

    Tokyo Minato-ku Roppongi 7-10-22F
A five-minute walk from Roppongi Station on the Toei Subway Oedo Line. This wine bar is located on the second floor of a building situated down an alley across from Tokyo Midtown. The bar stocks some 200 bottles of natural wines, with a focus on wines from France and Italy. The bar is famous for its hearty Japanese Wagyu beef steaks, which are served cut into massive chunks. The bar stocks its steak meat daily and thus the specific cuts available vary from day to day. Another recommended food selection is the charcuterie assortment, an hors d'oeuvre which comes with dry-cured ham, salami, homemade pate created using only pork, and other meats. You can also have wines chosen for you based on your meal and personal tastes.

I was introduced to this cozy yet legit joint a few years ago. For someone who lives in Australia where there are numerous steakhouse, it means a lot that this place knows how to prepare meat. Wine...

"The sign of this longstanding Japanese pub, announcing ""Yakitori, Shumai, Tentaka,"" has been attracting customers since 1926. The pub serves six varieties of yakitori grilled chicken skewers; the fresh liver is particularly recommended. The pub's food philosophy is to serve anything the owner can make, and you'll also find hearty and filling dishes on the menu as well such as oyakodon chicken and egg over rice, and omelet rice. The pub's specialties are its jumbo shumai steamed meat dumplings; and its ""Gen Soba,"" which is actually a miso ramen said to have been invented by a previous owner after a tipsy customer asked for miso soup."

"This is the classical hotel's main bar, situated on the second floor of the Imperial Hotel's main building. The bar is the last extant vestige in Tokyo of the former Imperial Hotel building designed by architectural legend Frank Lloyd Wright, which was counted a part of international architectural history and even known as the ""Jewel of the Orient."" The Oya tuff stone and terracotta on the walls in the back left of the bar are just as they were in the old Imperial Hotel. Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
