    This is an interactive facility in the No. 2 Bando hill park of the Bando region of Higashi Matsuyama City, Saitama Prefecture. It is the only indoor fossil excavation activity center in the prefecture. After listening to the instructors talk, the participant is given a sifter and hammer to excavate such items as shark's teeth from a rock mass. The instructor assesses the item found, and the fossil can be taken home (excluding a few high value fossils). The exhibit area displays valuable fossils found thus far. The tourism corner has a collection of tourist information for the city and the surrounding areas as well as unique products from the fossil activity center. This is the only place where one can enjoy digging for fossils in a temperature controlled environment.

    A natural area in Tokorozawa City covering nearly 1000 hectares has been developed to allow the people to come into contact with the local nature of the Sayama Hills and to encourage them to consider the importance of nature and its relationship with humans. There are five themed locations centered around a center area which is home to the Ikifure Flora and Fauna Interaction Center which looks at living things native to Arahata, Tokorozawa City. The different locations are connected with a nearly 13- kilometerfootpath from east to west and you can explore the area following the signposts.

    A facility centering on a factory owned by the Yugeta Shoyu soy sauce company in Tabame, Hidaka City. Visitors can take a tour of the factory and watch soy sauce being made and try activities like squeezing the mash used to ferment soy sauce. There's also a company shop, a light meal corner serving dishes made with soy sauce, and a gift shop offering soy sauce pourers and other merchandise. In addition, visitors can purchase a variety of sweets made with soy sauce here like soft serve ice cream, pudding, and roll cakes.
