    This is the Obihiro head office of the famous Hokkaido confectioner, Rokkatei, of which the company was originally founded in Obihiro City. All kinds of Rokkatei sweets are sold here, such as the classic Hokkaido souvenir Marusei Butter Sandwich Cake and sweets made with white chocolate, etc. On the second floor is a cafe where you can get some light food and desserts. Popular dishes are the Saku Saku Pie with thick cream wrapped in pastry, and the Marusei Ice Cream Sandwich Cake. Also in the building is a well-established western-style restaurant, an art gallery and event halls.

    This western-style confectionery store is located to the south of Midorigaoka Park, down the Park Higashi-dori Street, slightly to the east past Yayoi-dori Street. This long-established store was founded in 1972, and its sweet potatoes with a history of over 20 years are exquisite. Being able to make purchases based on the weight of their items, customers are welcome to buy as much as they like. There is also soft-serve ice cream, as well as three types of Shanruru cookies - cheese, cherry and raisin. The store has a cafe, where customers can enjoy a limited number of sweet potato sets, which are made with deliciously chilled sweet potatoes. There is also a wide selection of drinks such as hot cocoa that are limited to the Yayoi-dori store.

    This Japanese-style confectionery store was established in 1954 on the Denshin-dori Shopping Street. It is famous as a long-established store and has made appearances in the media. There are two types - bean paste or cheese - of Obanyaki, also well-known by its nickname, Takaman, and at peak times, the store sells as many as 2000 of these in a single day. Additionally, there are also Anman (steamed bun with sweet beans), Nikuman (steamed meat bun) and Mushipan (steamed bun) for sale. It is also possible to buy soft-serve ice cream and shaved ice, either to eat in the eat-in corner or to take away. The store has its own car park, so it is also easily accessible by car.

    The main store of Cranberry, a cake shop famous also for its nationwide product fairs and online business, based in Obihiro City, Hokkaido. The store’s most famous sweet, which has been loved since its establishment in 1972 and exceeds over 500 grams, is the large sweet potato. Encased in the skin of the sweet potato to give its unique appearance, the soft sweetness harnessing the potato’s flavor is a big hit with customers. There is also a coffee shop area in the shop where you can taste Cranberry’s sweet potatoes and cakes.

    A branch shop of the famous Hokkaido confectioner, Rokkatei, located in Obihiro City, Hokkaido. The red walled landmark building built with approximately 100,000 Tokachi bricks is home to a very spacious store with a confectionery shop, a cafe, and a product demonstration area. You can purchase all sorts of Rokkatei sweets, such as Marusei Butter Sandwich Cake, a classic Hokkaido souvenir, as well as their strawberry chocolate which is freeze dried strawberry covered with chocolate.

    This is a tourist facility within the famous “Obihiro Racecourse” which is famous as the only racecourse in the world where horses race pulling heavy weights on iron sleds. Inside visitors can feel the charm of Tokachi, a treasure chest of food, at one of the many facilities such as a market selling directly from the producer, a sweetshop & café, and a restaurant where you can taste dishes made from Tokachi ingredients. The sweets buffet which is held at the bistro cafe “million sante” every Friday is popular. The “Horse Museum” is open free of charge and visitors can learn the connection between men and horses of the pioneering era.

    This bakery on an extensive 11,000 square meter site in Inadacho, Obihiro City in Hokkaido, is a wooden building surrounded by a spacious garden and a field of wheat. They sell breads and are particular about local ingredients such as using 100% Tokachi grown wheat in all their breads. There is a bakery with an open kitchen in the spacious store, and besides prepared breads such as sandwiches and hearth-baked pizzas, they also make ample amounts of crusty breads. You can eat the breads you purchase in a bright glass-sided space within the building.

    An amazing bread spread with open kitchen bake and sold fresh. Kids get to run freely in the spacious natural garden. A good place to chill. Good spacious parking too.

    A Western confectionary shop with close ties to the local community located in Obihiro. The shop offers a variety of sweets made with ingredients from the Tokachi area. The shop's signature product is its Milk Road sponge cakes made with plenty of butter and coated bottom and top with white chocolate. Many of its products have charming names relating to the local area, such as the Ezo Violet Azalea and the Tokachi Diary cakes. The shop has no eat-in space and offers takeout sales only. The shop's soft serve ice cream, however, is a popular treat to enjoy on the go while walking about town.

The bakery's breads, made with 100% Hokkaido flour, are all created with the aim of conveying the simple deliciousness of wheat. The cream bread, made with plenty of homemade custard, the thrice daily-baked salt butter bread, and numerous other breads are made fresh each and every day. In the bakery's cafe space, you can enjoy hot coffee or other beverages as well as a lunch set.

    小麦の香りが豊かなパン 可愛らしい外観の建物です。特に扉の取っ手がフランスパンなのが素敵！ ドアを開けると美味しそうなパンの香りがします。 閉店間際に訪れたので、選択肢がほとんど無かったのですが購入できたベーコンエピはとても美味しかったです。

    ほっともっとでで購入する弁当は、「のり弁」一筋です。それ以外は購入したことがありません。価格が安く、白身魚のフライ、ちくわの天ぷら、きんぴら、ご飯に乗せた海苔がバランよ良く入っています。なくならない人気メニューです。揚げたての白身魚フライにソースをジューンという音がするくらいかけて、いただくと大変美味しくいただけます。使っている米が価格の割にはよいものですから、弁当全体が美味しくなります。
