    A shop serving up Gyoda's specialty Fry and Jelly Fry. Fry is a food somewhat like okonomiyaki where flour is dissolved in water and then pork and green onions are added before it is then fried whereas Jelly Fry is tofu dregs mixed with potato, carrot, and shredded green onion which is then deep-fried in vegetable oil. This is a staple that can't be had elsewhere besides Gyoda due to its being a center of flour production. Remember the past as you enjoy the meal in the shop which is a reconstruction of the belfry from the Siege of Oshi.

Then, nearly 30-years ago, they started selling Oban-yaki and Oranda-yaki fried pastries. Now it's a soul food shop selling shaved ice in the summer and Oban-yaki and Oranda-yaki in the winter. It's got a reputation as being delicious and easy to eat as either a light meal or as a snack.

    関西ではまずないオランダ焼のお店。今川焼きの生地にハムとチーズが入っていて、甘塩風味で美味しかったです。お値段も100円と手ごろ。
