First opened in Hawaii in 1974, Eggs’n Things serves hearty, belly-filling breakfasts. Morning, noon, or night, here you can enjoy the taste of Hawaiian breakfast. Located across from Yamashita Park, this location also has terrace seating. Perhaps the most popular item on the menu are Eggs’n Things’ pancakes, topped with a heaping mountain of whipped cream and fruit. The restaurant offers a variety of pancakes, including ones with fruit and other toppings mixed in with the batter. The restaurant’s large menu also includes crepes, eggs Benedict, and much more.

Baked omelettes were ok (a bit greasy, perhaps that was the cheese perhaps avoid that, the spinach was good), great service, nice vibe!

During cafe-time, fresh brewed coffee and homemade cakes are served. The hamburger dishes are available for take-out as well.

Not a bad burger joint for Japan, the burgers are big and the ingredients fresh. Loved the avocado. The only complaint is there are long waits and the meat party is very fatty so can be tough, dont...

Besides hamburgers, sandwiches and hot-dogs, A&W also serves other menu items, such as “Chubby Chicken” (made using Okinawa-raised pullets). Hokkaido Obihiroshi Nishinijuichijouminami 3-5
Tokachi Butadon Ippin is a specialist Buta Don restaurant located on Shinroku Street, around 15 minutes’ drive from Obihiro Station. The restaurant’s pork portions are substantial but tender, with a slightly sweet flavor to the fat. Carefully selected Japanese pork tenderloin (backstrap) is grilled using only the best Bincho-tan charcoal (made from Ubame oak wood); to avoid spoiling the natural flavors of the ingredients, the specially-made sauce is prepared without heating it. Diners can specify how much rice and how much pork they want, as well as the size of the pork portions and the amount of sauce to be added. Besides the Obihiro flagship store, there are five other Tokachi Butadon Ippin branches in Sapporo City offering the same outstanding charcoal grill taste.

Ippin is the most delicious butadons store in Obihiro. So, the store is very popular, so you may have to wait in line. The store is famous for sauce. It is very good taste. You can select volume.

Founded in 1909 and located near the Outer Shrine of Ise Jingu Shrine, Butasute has been serving its specialty, Wagyu beef, for over 100 years. Since they deal only in Ise meat, painstakingly selected with expertise handed down from the Meiji Period and insist on using Ise and Iga cattle, customers can enjoy meat from domestically produced black-coated breeds at a reasonable price. Besides set meals such as Salisbury steak and grilled meat, there are many other dishes that are available only at the Outer Shrine restaurant. Two popular options include croquettes for take-out or Butasute's famous Gyudon (beef over rice).

We had a premium gyudon (beef rice bowl) and hot plate Japanese style hamburger. Both were great and beef quality was wonderful. Reasonably priced not expensive at all. The restaurant is newly...

Franklin Avenue, located in the residential area of Gotanda, is a gourmet hamburger restaurant which uses only very selective ingredients. This hamburger diner, founded in 1990, is considered one of the original gourmet burger restaurants coming into Japan with first wave of hamburger restaurants. The structure itself is a single resident building, providing a calm atmosphere, without an excessive American atmosphere. Their trademark item is the mushroom cheeseburger. Hokkaido Hakodateshi Wakamatsuchou 9-15 inside bowl alley
This izakaya (Japanese-style pub) is in the lively Donburi Yokocho Market (Hakodate morning market) just a two-minute walk away from Hakodate Station. Inside the shop live squid swim in tanks and their signature dish of live squid on rice, using the squid caught off the coast of Hakodate, is a huge hit. It’s a gem of a dish which is often highlighted by the mainstream media. The squid has a transparent body, and a sweet and crunchy texture, and whether it’s on a bed of rice or in your mouth it’s constantly moving about. You can taste the seasonal delights while you embrace the historic Hakodate air in the calm atmosphere of the restaurant.

Osaka Osakashi Chuou-ku Namba 1-1-18 Hozenji Alley
Located roughly a five-minute walk away from each line of Namba Station. This is a well-established specialist katsudon (breaded pork fillet on rice) restaurant, and it has an elegant exterior which fits into Hozenji Yokocho alley. In the restaurant, there are only 10 counter seats, and the service style is with the rice and the pork cutlet being served separately. The good flavor from the Japanese soup stock can be tasted in the sweet juice, these rather large pork cutlets are soaked in these juices. If the pork fillet was put on top of the rice with the juices, the dish would become a little soupy. If it is to your liking, they are delicious even eaten separately. In addition to the standard Katsudon, the menu has various kinds of dishes which you can enjoy including Katsudon with Korean pickles on rice, Katsudon with cheese on rice and Katsudon with curry on rice.

Let’s be honest, Katsudon is always good. But OH GOD I was ont ready for this one. The owner is a real master, everything is freshly cooked in individual pans and topping separated from the rice so...

Yo-Roppaken is the restaurant that, back in 1913, created the first “Sosu Katsudon” (a bowl of rice with a breaded and fried pork cutlet on top, served with Worcestershire sauce), the result of intensive experimentation by the restaurant owner (who had encountered Worcestershire sauce while working in Germany) to develop cuisine using Worcestershire sauce that would appeal to Japanese palates; today, “Sosu Katsudon” is a famous Fukui specialty dish. Other popular dishes at Yo-Roppaken include Pari Don (which uses menchi-katsu—a fried cake of minced meat—instead of a pork cutlet) and Shrimp Don. Yo-Roppaken is located around eight-minute drive from JR Tsuruga Station.

Hokkaido Obihiroshi Odoriminami 12-2-4 Kawarami Building 1F
Buta Don Hanatokachi is a specialist Buta Don (Pork Bowl) restaurant with a distinctive yellow sign outside, located around seven minutes’ walk from Obihiro Station. It was originally an ordinary Japanese restaurant, but when Buta Don was added to the menu the restaurant rapidly acquired a word-of-mouth reputation as having high-quality, reasonably-priced Buta Don, and it became very popular. The loin roll meat used to make the restaurant’s Buta Don is marbled pork, which can be obtained from only around 3% of Hokkaido pigs. To satisfy customers who want to be able to eat both marbled pork and boned rib, Buta Don Hanatokachi introduced “Half-boned Buta Don,” which has become a famous dish. Please note that on weekends and public holidays Buta Don Hanatokachi is very busy, and it may be necessary to queue for a table.
