    T.Y. Harbor is a restaurant adjacent to a brewery along the Tennozu Canal. Its spacious, open interior is a remodeled warehouse. The terrace seating at the water’s edge evokes an elegant, American-style atmosphere. In addition to freshly brewed beer from the adjacent brewery, the restaurant offers soup and salad sets and vegetarian dishes at lunch during the week, while the weekend lunch menu adds burgers, pastas and pizza. The evening menu offers appetizers, pizza, and meat and fish main courses.

    Located along National Route 364 in Kamitakeda, Maruokacho Town, Sakai City, this well-established tofu shop was founded in 1925. The signature abura-age (deep-fried bean curd) uses underground water from Mt. Hakusan and choice domestic soy beans for its tofu which is crisply and aromatically fried up with rapeseed oil. At the restaurant you can try dishes that use abura-age like “takeda no abura-age gozen” and at the retail shop, you can purchase freshly fried tofu, as well as sweets using tofu or soy milk.
