- A 14 minute walk from Jomo-Kogen Station. Located right next to Roadside Station Tsukiyono-Yaze Shinsui Park, this takeout-only restaurant serves “mushiyaki” steamed and baked chicken. Using only domestic chickens no older than 50 days, Takahashi no Wakadori has provided the same, delicious secret sauce flavored chicken since it first opened. The restaurant’s chicken is cooked without any additional water, using the meat’s own moisture content to steam it, creating a juicy and light flavored chicken. Particularly popular menu choices include the meaty mushiyaki chicken on the bone and the boneless teriyaki chicken.

- This venerable kamaboko fish cake shop was founded in 1912. They serve the Hamada iconic food Akaten in a charming shop full of history. Akaten is marked by its red color, and is made from ground fish like pollock flavored with chili peppers and then fried. Fried up in a bread crumb coating, its spiciness makes it the perfect dish with rice, and a fantastic snack with alcohol. In addition to being featured in all kinds of news media, the dish received the flavor stamp of approval of famed French chef Kiyomi Mikuni and was selected for his Mikuni Marche line.

ブドウ狩りに行った際、店の人に勧められて行った。駐車場は広くお店も中に入ったら色々な席がありかなり広い。メニューを見たらいろいろ載っているが、あっさりしているものが食べたかったので、わさび蕎麦を注文した。かなり混んでいたのでしばらく待たされたが、蕎麦は色黒で太めの田舎蕎麦風のが二盛りと生わさびが２本もついたものが出てきた。蕎麦や麺汁は普通だが生わさびが２本とわ、その分だけ安いと感じた。

仕事の用事で蒜山に寄った際、お昼時に訪問しました。 相変わらずの人気ぶりで、店内はコロナの影響も感じない程賑わっていました。 私は、焼きそばの上に目玉焼きがのっている『あさぜん焼きそば』を注文。 焼きそばの美味しさは変わらず、蒜山焼きそばの名店は健在でした。

先日、日田市に行った際に 友人から「日田焼きそばが美味い」と聞いていたのですが その後どうしても「日田焼きそば」が食べたくなって 熊本市で探してみたら近くにありました(笑) 11時からのオープン直後に入店 鉄板焼きなので麺がカリカリなとこがありますが、それも美味しい！ また伺います

屋台風のたたずまい。小さ目の入口からもぐりこむように店内に入ります。名物は 静岡おでん。こんにゃくは田楽のように みそ仕立て アツアツをいただきます。ちょっと濃いめのソウルフードでした。

十文字ラーメンといえば、十文字まで足を向けなければならないが、面倒な人はここですますことができる。とはいえ、林泉堂はCMうってるだけあって結構うまい。 ラーメンに麩が載っており、あっさりした味。 素朴な味が好きな方にはオススメ。そして、スープを飲み干して、器の底に当りが描かれていると無料券がもらえるとのこと。

揚げたてで熱々の、さすがお肉屋さんのコロッケ。 いつ行っても数人並んでます。でもすばやくパパパッと注文聞いてくれてあげてくれるのでそこまで待たされた感はないです。
