The museum explains sea turtle ecology through fossils and panel displays. Recently hatched baby sea turtles are on display in their own special tank, and you can see rare sea turtle varieties in the facility's Large Turtle Pool and the Floating Sea Turtle Hall. - Kaanapali is a dive center just a five-minute walk from Shishikui Station in Tokushima Prefecture. You can be guided to waters of Shishikui or the seas of Muroto or Kannoura in the eastern area of Kochi Prefecture where the black current churns. Experience Diving events for beginners and non-licensed divers are offered as well as Fun Diving for licensed divers, and other activities such as snorkeling, and diving classes. All the equipment is provided for the Experience Diving class.

- Located around 10 minutes’ walk from Sabase Station on the JR Mugi Line, Ozuna Beach has received a special commendation from the Ministry of the Environment as one of the best of the “Top 100 Best Beaches in Japan.” Ozuna Beach forms part of the “Yasaka-Yahama” (“Eight Hills and Eight Beaches”), a long stretch of scenic coastline in Tokushima Prefecture. As soon as the beach is opened to the public for sea-bathing in mid-July each year, it attracts many visitors, making for a very lively atmosphere (the beach is open for sea-bathing until late August). Showers, rest areas etc. are available free of charge.
