A five-minute walk from Keifuku Electric Railroad Arashiyama Station and a 10-minute walk from Saga-Arashiyama Station. This restaurant is located in the inner parlor on the first floor of the Yoshiya Main Restaurant, a restaurant which serves Saga cuisine and which is located a little ways east of the Togetsukyo Bridge on Sanjo-dori Street. Open to small groups from one to a maximum of 10 people, here customers can enjoy unique Kyoto cuisine such as a Saga boiled tofu tempura meal and a raw yuba tofu skin meal. The restaurant's original selections such as its yuba fondue meal, made with tofu skin and cheese, are also recommended. The restaurant has also been certified by the Kyoto Halal Council and can accommodate Muslim dietary needs. The restaurant's curry, croquettes, and karaage fried chicken are available for takeout.

A tofu and tofu skin shop next to Togetsu-kyo Bridge in the heart of Sagano. They are especially conscious of female customers and over traditional kaiseki course meals and healthy lunches focused primarily around tofu and tofu skin. During the daytime they offer a buffet with over 30 options including fresh fried tempura, Japanese rolled omelets cooked by the chef at the venue, and nigiri sushi. In the evening they offer tofu and tofu skin kaiseki meals, as well as seasonal bamboo bento box meals with seasonal ingredients in bamboo baskets. They're well known for serving meals befitting a traditional Japanese inn while sitting in their tatami room gazing out at the sites of Arashiyama including Mt. Ogurayama and the Ooigawa River.

Kyoto Areas

Its wooden tea houses, shuffling geisha, and spiritual sights have seen Kyoto hailed as the heart of traditional Japan, a world apart from ultramodern Tokyo. Despite being the Japanese capital for over a century, Kyoto escaped destruction during World War II, leaving behind a fascinating history which can be felt at every turn, from the fully gold-plated Kinkakuji Temple down to traditional customs such as geisha performances and tea ceremonies, which are still practiced to this day.
