The park is a disaster prevention center which functions as an on-site countermeasures headquarters in the event of a large-scale disaster. Facilities include the headquarters building, where visitors can learn about and experience simulations of earthquakes and tsunami; the entrance square, which can become a medical support site; and a heliport. The grounds have been planted with a variety of plant life, and almost throughout the entire year visitors can enjoy the sight of colorful flowering plants, including Kawazu and Oshima cherry trees in the spring, and sunflowers in the summer.

- The park connects Ariake, Aomi, and Daiba to various facilities in the Tokyo Waterfront City. Located in the center of Odaiba, flowers, water, and the areas provided for pedestrians are stretching in the park of approximately 260,000 square meters. The park is also lit up from dusk and has a reputation for its romantic atmosphere. The West Promenade overlooks the Statue of Liberty, while the Center Promenade offers a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day, and many outdoor and sporting events are held on weekends.

Went there only because it’s close to all the other attractions in the area. Not very special though I must say… A lot of trees and small little gardens (including a few tulips etc.) Cool statue to...

- This park, located a 12-minute walk from Odaiba-kaihinkoen Station on the Yurikamome Line, is situated on the site of a late Edo period fort on the north side of Odaiba Marine Park. One of the artificial islands built in Tokyo Bay off Shinagawa after the arrival of Commodore Matthew C. Perry in 1853, today, only the No. 3 and No. 6 batteries still remain from this time, and both have been designated National Historic Sites. The park was built on the No. 3 Battery. Replicas of the site's ruined cannons can be found on a hill along the sea, and there are also ruins of a gunpowder magazine and troop building surrounded by a stone wall, as well as a replica of a ruined furnace. Today, the island is connected to the mainland and can be walked to.

- Tokyo Koto-ku Shin-kiba 2
- A metropolitan marine park with gently rolling hills a seven-minute walk from Shinkiba Station on the JR Keiyo Line. The 7,500-square-meter site features a multi-purpose plaza where you can enjoy sports and picnics, as well as a barbecue area. You can fish for free all year round, and you see lots of people out with their rods from early in the morning. Since the nearest supermarket is quite far, a package plan that provides your barbecue food comes recommended. The barbecue area must be reserved ahead, either for daytime or sunset use.

Tokyo Areas
The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
