    Japan’s first National Park. It was created as part of the centennial celebration of the Meiji Restoration. Roughly three million square meters in size—enough to fit about sixty-five Tokyo Domes—the park includes Japan’s largest air trampoline, a playground, athletic equipment, a barbeque spot, an area for viewing all kinds of plant life, from cherry trees to camellia and plum trees. There is also a cycling course and other facilities. You can enjoy them all regardless of age all day in the park.

    東武東上線の森林公園駅からバスで行ける大きな国立公園です。敷地が大変広く、のんびり散歩するのに最適です。園内のサイクリングコースでサイクリングするのもおすすめです。時間があるときにまったりするのに良い場所です。

The Moomin Mansion, three stories plus a basement, a large, warm, wooden building centered on a fireplace, is a place for excited children to explore. The Forest House is a museum that displays materials about the life of children's author Tove Jansen, and there is a library on the second floor. Near the entrance to the park is a children's theater, popular with children for the musical events and story readings are held.

    This prefectural park is located on the border between Saitama and Ibaraki prefectures. At its center is the Gongendo Reservoir, which hosted the flatwater kayaking competition during the 59th National Sports Festival. It consists of four zones in total, including green spaces and multipurpose areas. Gongendo Tsutsumi is on the grounds, known as one of the best flower viewing spots in the Kanto region. Throngs of tourists visit, especially when the cherry trees are in bloom. The Satte Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year at this time.

    A park located in Toda City. The park's grounds extend for 2,500 meters east to west; on the banks of the Arakawa River, the park is situated along the border with Tokyo. The park originally served as the venue for rowing events as the Toda Rowing Course during the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. The park was also used for the boating events during the 2004 National Sports Festival of Japan.

    四季折々景色が良いです。午後からは学生達のボートを漕ぐ姿が見れます。週末には大会もあり、昭和オリンピックの聖火台も見れます。但し近くに食事をする場所や売店は無いのでコンビニで買い物をして行くのがおすすめです。

In the park, moss phlox with more than some 400,000 plants from nine varieties are cultivated over about 17,600 square meters, and red, pink and white moss phlox flowers cover the whole area in spring like a patchwork of flowers. There are a range of facilities such as Fureai bokujo (ranch) where you can pat sheep, a museum for Mt. Buko which is a symbol of Chichibu and an athletics area. Anyone can enjoy the whole day there regardless of their age.

    A park opened in 1977 with beautiful greenery surrounding a massive 31.3ha pond formed by the gathering of the many numerous small creeks in the surrounding wetland area. The park is dominated by the giant pond and you can enjoy boating, fishing, a cycling trail, a jogging course, and barbequing. You can also watch wild birds.

    工場地帯に突然大きな池のある公園が現れます。ボート乗り場もありますが、平日はあまり混んでいなかったです。

Over 500 plum trees grow on the grounds, including red, white, and weeping plums, and a Plum Tree Festival is held at the park from mid-February to March.

    色んな種類の梅がほとんど咲いていました。白やピンク。梅の種類によって香りも違いました。甘酸っぱい香り甘い香り一本一本違う香りなんだと思いました。天気の良い平日でしたが駐車場は空いていました。公園を一周歩いたら汗ばみました。春はもう直ぐです!

    This is a history park just a 15-minute walk from the Mizuhodai Station on the Tobutojo Line. This park was created to preserve and replicate the shell mounds, kaizuka, and villages from the Jomon Period discovered at this site. Discovered in 1917, and deemed of “good quality and of great scientific value,” this site was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1969. One can visit the exhibit introducing the lifestyle of the people at that time, and see the excavated earthenware, animal bones and learn about the pit dwellings replicated outdoors.

    From the JR Urawa Station east exit, taking a bus bound for Saitama Higashi Eigyosho, this park is located right where you disembark at the Sagiyama Kinen Koen bus stop. The park was created in 1984 around the Nodano Sagiyama hill, which was designated as a Special Natural Monument to protect the breeding grounds of herons, when the designation was rescinded and a commemorative hall was erected within the park. The park is ideally suited for families because it has spacious grassed areas, an athletic course, and a camp site with barbecue pits.
