An area which was the rose garden up until then was reopened as the English Rose Garden in 2016 and various roses and plants now rush into bloom throughout the seasons against the background of the English building. It is about three minutes’ walk from Exit 6 at Motomachi-Chukagai Station on the Tokyu Minatomirai Line.

It has an athletic course including such obstacles as a net tunnel, and with around 2000 cherries trees planted it is known for its sakura season (selected as one of the Japan Top 100 Sakura Viewing Sites). The Kinugasa Sakura Festival and the Hotaruno Sato firefly viewing events especially draw many visitors, but this park is rich in natural beauty in any season.
