This park was opened in 1885 as Hikawa Park, and began to be operated by the Prefecture from 1898 as Omiya Park. With over 1,000 cherry blossom trees, it is famous for cherry viewing, and was selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. With a small zoo and a large playground with play-equipment, this is a family friendly park.

・埼玉県の大宮公園内にある「児童遊園地」。無料です。10:00-16:00が開園時間で、休園日はなし。ただし、一部の有料施設は木曜日と金曜日がお休みのようです。・JR大宮駅東口から徒歩25分、東武アーバンパークライン大宮公園駅から徒歩10分の場所にあります。公共交通機関を利用すると、いずれも10分以上は歩くことが必要です。天気の良い日にぶらりと歩きながら訪問することをお勧めしますが、歩くのが苦...
