A metropolitan park adjacent to four stations including Harajuku Station and Yoyogi-koen Station. There are forest parks in area A, and an athletic field and event halls in area B. The park, full of greenery, is familiar to the people of Tokyo as a place for relaxation with its bird sanctuaries where people can bird-watch, and the biggest dog run in Tokyo. It is famous for holding many flea markets and events.

Pet ponies at the Pony Park in Yoyogi, Tokyo. These ponies are calmer than most thoroughbred ponies and are perfect for small children to pet. Just a two-minute walk from Sangubashi Station on the Odakyu Line. Entry and pony rides are free. Pony rides are available for children from the ages of one to four and their guardians. Feeding ponies carrots is another popular activity.

    ポニー公園のポニーの公開時間は午前10時から11時30分、午後3時00分から4時30分です。休館日は月曜日。月曜日が祝日の場合は翌日お休みになります。

This Western-style garden was created with the aim of commemorating for future generations the achievements of Emperor Meiji. Serving as an oasis in the heart of Tokyo, here visitors can take in seasonal natural beauty. The park is outfitted with a variety of sports and culture facilities, such as the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, as well as Jingu Stadium and other sports facilities, and a children's park and playground area. In addition, the park holds seasonal, large-scale events such as the Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival in the summer and the Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Festival in the fall, attracting large numbers of visitors throughout the year.

"A park located a 15-minute walk from Daikanyama Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. ""Saigoyama"" means ""Saigo's Mountain"" or ""Mt. Saigo"" and is derived from an estate which was built here and purchased by Saigo Judo for his famous older brother Saigo Takamori. After being sold and then experiencing an air-raid bombing, the site was eventually turned into a park. Highlights include a 20-meter-tall artificial waterfall built using a hill in the park, a memorial tree and lava boulder from Sakurajima, a large grass lawn, and observatory, and the park is a great destination for families to take their children to play. On clear winter days, visitors can see all the way to Mt. Fuji."

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
