There's also the shop's Biwa Chiffon Cake, which is also made with local loquats. The shop's whipped cream-stuffed daifuku rice cakes come in more than 10 flavors, including tsubuan chunky red bean paste, cafe au lait, kabocha, matcha green tea, loquat leaf, chocolate, Mont Blanc, black sesame, purple sweet potato, cheesecake, and strawberry mousse.

    This longstanding Japanese confectionary shop has been in business for over 130 years. The shop is famous for its sake manju buns made with high quality rice and koji. According to legend, the owner of the shop was taught how to make them by a monk wearing a conical wicker hat who visited Shirahama. Another of the shop's signature products is its Kinsenka no Hana cakes, which are made according to a proprietary recipe with pot marigold flower petals mixed in with the dough; their creation was inspired by Shirahama-cho's declaration that it was the best town for pot marigolds in Japan. Other products the shop makes include standard dorayaki pancake sandwiches and manju buns, as well as confections made using locally-grown loquats.

    This longstanding Japanese confectionary shop has been in business in the area for over 100 years. The shop is dedicated to the creation of elegant and fun confections. And true to this concept, many of its confections have a humorous design. The shop's products, which come in cute, eye-catching packaging, include the Sazae Monaka turban shell-shaped wafer cakes; round, cute whale-shaped Kujira Manju buns; and Kujira Age Manju buns, which are made with brown sugar and fried. The shop also sells staple dorayaki pancake sandwiches and dacquoise cake.

    This Western confectionary shop is highly selective about the ingredients it uses. The eggs it uses are fresh-laid and delivered straight from the farm; its butter is shipped via refrigerated containers from Hokkaido. The whipped cream for the shop's delightfully milky shortcake is also stocked from Hokkaido, while the whipped cream used for the shop's mousses comes from Kyushu. Particularly popular products include the Opera shortcake, the origin of the establishment's name; the Crunch Chocolat; and the Cream D'anjou.

    ケーキのバイキングをしていることで大変有名なお店ですが、本当に有名なのは柏で一番美味しいと言われてるケーキ屋さんだということだと思いますが、個人的にはケーキより若干休みのシュークリームが大変好きで革の焼き具合とか中のクリームとかとても美味しいです。

    This baumkuchen specialty shop is a one-minute walk from JR Gion Station. The shop's sells vaunted baumkuchens made with an abundance of Princess Eggs, a premium egg variety which has won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award. The shop's slow-baked Sennen Waum baumkuchens are a staple favorite and make great gifts as well. The popular Toro Nama Baumkuchens series are double-layer baumkuchens made with chocolate and fruit and have been featured in the media. In the adjoining cafe, you can enjoy a variety of baumkuchens and beverages.

    ドライブ中に立派な建物が気になって急遽立ち寄りました。美味しそうなパンがずらりと並んでます。 メロンパン好きなので迷わず購入しましたが大変美味しい。甘さとパンの柔らかさ加減がちょうどいい。レジ前に置いてあったマドレーヌも懐かしい味でした。 美味しいコーヒーをサービスでいただけるのも嬉しいです。外に設置してあるテーブルで飲食可能なようです。夕方に訪れましたが空いていました。

    いつ行ってもお客さんが多いです、それだけ美味しいんですね。総菜パン食パンもちろん美味しいですが、ピッツァのベーコンほうれん草・明太子・ポテトも大好きです。自家製のりんごパン・・甘酸っぱい程よい甘さのコッペパンに入っているリンゴ、この時期もので美味しかったです。
