    Chiba Pref. Katsurashi Shiraikubo 296-8
Established in 1954, Ezawa is the birthplace of Katsuura style dandan noodles. With its soy-sauce based broth, original rayu chili oil, and flavorful toppings, these satisfying noodles are rich and spicy. The shop closes when it runs out of broth, so be sure to come early!

This ramen noodle shop is approximately threeminutes from the Matsudo Station east exit in Matsudo, Matsudo City. This is the sister store to the famous Chukasoba Tomita in Matsudo. This chukasoba is made from milddried sardines broth and homemade noodles using only domestic flour. The store also offers thicker broth and noodles for tsukemen dipping, and soba noodles with authentic kinka pork wonton dumplings.

After a day of exploring the city, my family and I went to Tomita Shokudo for some noodles. While our Japanese is minimal, the hostess was exceptionally helpful in indicating what options on their...

Kodama Family Restaurant was founded in 1965 and is operated by a butcher shop. In addition to noodles, it serves a wide variety of rice dishes and prix fixe meals. It is famous for its cheap, delicious, and generously portioned Dandan Noodles, and its Katsu Raisu (pork cutlet on rice) and Yakiniku Raisu (grilled meat on rice) are also recommended. The broth for the Dandan Noodles is bright red, but it is not all that spicy. Instead, it is slightly sweet with a rich, savory flavor.

"This ramen noodle shop makes a local favorite known as ""Ganso White Gau Ramen"" with broth made from milk. It won the Sode-1 Grand-Prix at Sodegaura's local food festival. They serve a variety of Chinese cuisine, including Gau Ramen with toppings like vegetables and chicken, other types of ramen, fried noodles, and fried rice. They also have daily meal set specials and a la carte items."

The Boso Peninsula forms the main body of Chiba prefecture, and this is where you’ll find its endless warm water beaches and jagged mountains. Further inland, Narita - most famous as the home of Narita Airport - is a secret haven of tradition and history in the form of centuries-old Shinshoji Temple and quaint wooden Edo buildings. Chiba prefecture is also home to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
