Worshipers visiting the local shrines and temples swear the Umegae mochi and green tea (complete with lucky floating tea stalk) set brings good fortune. Every month on the 17th, the shop sells Umegae mochi made with ancient rice varieties, while on the 25th it sells Umegae mochi made with Japanese mugwort. Located immediately after passing through the two torii gates from Dazaifu Station.
