    Tottori Tohaku-gun Misasacho Mitoku 998
A restaurant located in front of Mitokusan Sanbutsu-ji Temple, famous for its cliff-face Nageire-do Hall. With an old-fashioned look, the shop serves coffee, red bean soup, Mitoku tofu, and their specialty cuisine featuring wild vegetables. Their popular tochimochi is made with mochi rice steam together with cooked Japanese horse chestnut. It's warm, soft, and perfect for a break after visiting Sanbutsu-ji Temple. Their slightly firm inaka-tofu and Mitoku tofu are served with fresh, sharp flavored pickled wasabi.

Á very nice experience, tasty food and the staff helped us out as much as they could despite our lack of Japanese! Im pretty sure the food is vegan too, but since I have no way of figuring that out...

"This ""yokai manju"" ningyo-yaki bun shop is located in front of the Mizuki Shigeru Museum. The shop has a bright and clean exterior; inside, the shop sells cute, 6-centimeter-tall ningyo-yaki buns. The shop is famous for its four buns modeled after characters from Shigeru Mizuki's hit ""GeGeGe no Kitaro"" - Kitaro, Medama-Oyaji, Neko-Musume, and Nezumi-Otoko. The shop's buns contain one of three fillings - smooth bean paste, custard, or chocolate - and customers can choose their favorite. The shop's boxes of yokai manju come wrapped in the ""Yokai Shimbun,"" a newspaper with information about Sakaiminato. The newspaper has information about the local area and Mizuki Shigeru Road, and many customers can be seen enjoy one of the shop's buns in one hand while reading the newspaper in the other."

    Tottori Kurayoshi-shi Saiwaicho 459-1
This longstanding Japanese confectionary shop was established in 1880. Inside a clean-looking establishment, the shop makes and sells Utsubuki Koen Dango dumplings, one of Kurayoshi City's most well-known confections. The dumplings are made with local refined rice flour and come in three colors/flavors: white white otebo bean paste, red azuki bean paste, and matcha green tea paste. In spite of their plain and simple appearance, these traditional treats have a rich flavor and are also made without the use of any additives whatsoever. The dumplings only keep for three days; meanwhile the shop's Oshidori no Chigiri, a dried confection created out of a desire to add a longer-lasting dried confection to the shop's lineup, are also popular. Customers can enjoy the shop's confections along with a cup of tea in the in-shop cafe space.

A facility whose white walls and red tiles give it a historic feel. It's about a ten-minute walk from Yonago Station. A restaurant, store, and more occupy the two-floor storehouse built in 1891. It's on what used to be the outer moat of Yonago Castle and preserves vestiges of that era. Sanrengura is a national Registered Tangible Cultural Property with lacquerware, rice, ceramic, and general storehouses. Traditional architectural techniques and design are found throughout, in elements such as the splendid roof truss, thick pine planks, and heavy plastered doors.
