    A yuba tofu skin specialty store across from Heike no Sato, a folk village facility that recalls the old ways of the Heike fugitives. Located in central Yunishikawa Onsen, they sell yuba straight from the factory. It's made with Nikko's famous water and high-quality domestic soybeans, maintaining their inherently sweet, rich flavor. The shop also serves light fare such as grilled yuba, yuba rolls, and traditional tochimochi rice cakes. Yunishikawa yuba is popular as a souvenir and is used at inns in the Yunishikawa, Kinugawa, and Kawaji Onsen hot spring districts.

    "This Japanese sweet shop is located near the Heike Ochiudo Folk Museum. The shop is marked by a banner that reads ""Heike Monaka"" in Japanese. They offer additive-free monaka sweets made fresh by hand daily. The specialty product is carefully made with 100% glutinous rice skin and red bean jam from Hokkaido. They are stamped and embossed in the shape of the Katabami creeping woodsorrel crest used by the Heike fugitives to conceal their identity, well known the Heike family crest Maru ni Ageha swallowtail butterfly in circle. Sold only in this shop and the Yunishikawa shopping district, they make the ideal Yunishikawa souvenir. Their kuri-yakata sweets containing a single chestnut inside are also popular."

    "A shop specializing in handmade ham with the motto ""safe, reliable, and delicious."" The shop is about five minutes away from Nanai Station by car. They manufacture and sell handmade smoked ham, sausage, bacon, etc. Sliced additive-free bacon, their most popular item, is made with pork belly from Tochigi Prefecture that's slowly prepared in a smokehouse over an open fire. Rich and tasty, they spare no time or effort in the meticulous preparation. The superbly delicious item embodies what the shop is all about and is a hit with everyone from kids to adults."

    A long-established Japanese confectionery store with more than 100 years of history. They sell seasonal and traditional Japanese sweets from their shop located a five-minute walk from Mogi Station, the terminus of the Moka Railway. Their nama-daifuku featuring a soft rice cake stuffed with a perfect balance of sweet bean paste and fresh cream is popular with many customers who buy it repeatedly. They offer a variety of colorful nama-daifuku flavors including peach, mango, sesame, and matcha green tea. They make a great souvenir or gift from Mogi.

    A cheese factory and shop with a triangular roof on the way from Yaita to Shiobara. They sell original and imported cheeses from a Scandinavian style building made largely of locally harvested wood. The variety cheeses they produce one by one include flavors like smoked and black pepper. Their original cheeses in unique flavors like ume shiso, wasabi, and mentaiko pollack roe make great gifts. The popular Tamari-zuke Cheese is made by pickling it in their house soy sauce flavored seasoning. It's been featured on TV many times.

    地元の有名店とのことで、おもたせを買いに。 焼き菓子のセットを購入しました。お洒落では無いけど、安定感もあり、コスパは良いんじゃないかと。 そして、予定外だったのですが、せっかくなので、ケーキも数点。 デザイン性は少ないですが、スポンジはふわふわで、安定感のある仕上がり。 サイズが大きめの割には安いので、やはりコスパは良いです。 自宅用で買うケーキとしてはお勧め。 コルネは180円で、間違いない...

    見境なく沢山のお菓子が置いてます。アイスやらプリンやらケーキやら和菓子やら。 一体何の店か分からない程。とりあえず安いこともあり色んな種類のお菓子を少しずつ買ってみましたがどれも美味しくありませんでした。でも安かったので納得は出来ました。 オープン当初より駐車場にとまってる車は少なくなった気がします。
