- A teashop attached to the Sato Seiji Seimen Noodle factory which has been making Umen noodles since they were first founded in 1883. In the eating space attached to the store you can taste traditional Umen noodles made the same way they were when the shop was founded. Their most popular menu item is their KenchinUmen dish made with Sendai miso. It's topped with an assortment of winter vegetables including burdock, carrots, nappa cabbage and Japanese parsley and is well known for its gentle homecooked flavor. Also popular is their GomadareUmen topped with their homemade black sesame sauce. The compact nine-centimeter size of their Umen noodle packs make it a fantastic Shiroishi souvenir.

写真を撮ってすみません！ 撮ってから、壁のメッセージに気付きました。是非記念に撮りたかった。 柚子とおろし生姜が乗った、山菜たっぷりの温麺は、予想以上の美味しさでした。 春なら三つ葉の代わりにセリが乗るらしい。 お餅も香ばしく、お腹がいっぱい。 製麺所販売店の一画のお食事コーナーでも、ちゃんとした温麺とサービスで大満足でした。

- A Japanese restaurant serving fresh seafood mainly from off the Sanriku coast, and Sendai beef. Together with seasonal vegetables, the restaurant offers three kinds of “chef’s choice” cuisine from six, eight or nine dishes. A special course of Japanese cuisine called the Ippin course is available on request. As well as course meals for lunch, the restaurant also serves boiled fish and grilled fish with rice and soup, traditional meals and rice bowls. - A Japanese restaurant located close to the Zuiganji Temple and the Entsu-in Temple, two renowned ancient temples, in Matsushima Town. The restaurant was originally built as a tea room to provide temple worshipers with a place to take a break. Today the establishment has a large banquet hall able to accommodate 400 people and serves as a tourist restaurant. There's a soft serve ice cream stand at the entrance where you can buy tofu, zunda mashed boiled green soybeans, and other unusual ice cream flavors. The restaurant's sweets menu includes zunda mochi rice cakes, anmitsu sweet beans in syrup, and kuzukiri kudzu jelly noodles flavored with Japanese apricot.

松島の観光は主に徒歩な為、見処が多いので時々休みたいです。 此方は御食事から甘味まで、親しみやすい価格設定で、瑞巌寺観光の後に立ち寄りました。 お汁粉とずんだ餅を其々に頂き、甘味に添えられた口直しの香の物や美味しい御茶に生き返る思いがしました。 松島は高額高級な設定のお店が多いですが、此方の様な親しみやすい価格のお店がもっとあちこちにあれば、滞在者が増える事でしょう。

- A Japanese restaurant dedicated to simple cuisine harnessing the natural flavors of the ingredients used. The restaurant was featured in the Michelin Guide 2017 Miyagi Special Edition and an advance reservation is required. The restaurant is snug but still provides a spacious atmosphere which is soothing and relaxing. Both lunch and dinner are omakase (chef's choice) and diners will enjoy a traditional kaiseki course meal featuring seasonal flavors. Two courses are offered in the evening-a standard kaiseki-style meal and, a meal with a small soft-shelled turtle hotpot. The restaurant carries a variety of alcoholic beverages including a selection of sakes from the Tohoku region with a focus on Miyagi brewers such as Onumaya, which makes use of Miyagi-grown Sasanishiki rice; and Hakurakusei. The restaurant currently operates under the name Okazaki Kasuga-machi.

市内中心部から少し離れますが，30分かからずに行けますし，場所もわかりやすく駐車場も広いのでよく利用します。牛タンには七味をたくさんかけて食べるのがオススメです。さっぱりする上，全然辛く感じません。
