This restaurant has continued to serve delicious mizutaki (chicken hot pot) for over 100 years since 1905. Even when it first opened, Suigetsu had lines of customers forming out the door, and today it still offers the same great flavor that was so good people were willing to line up and wait for it. The restaurant’s flavorful mizutaki is made with the choicest of ingredients, including fresh young chicken from Kyushu and bitter orange from Itoshima. A 10-minute walk from Nishitetsu Hirao Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line.

四十年前と変わらない、変えない姿勢に感動です。水炊きはもちろん鶏の唐揚げなどの一品料理も絶品です。私のおすすめは水炊きを一番お安いコースにして一品料理を2-3品が良いと思います。仲居さんの対応も最高です。

This long-standing motsu nabe specialty restaurant has been grilling meat for fussy Hakata eaters, making them say “If you want yakiniku, go to Keishu,” for some thirty years now. There are five different kinds of motsu nabe on the menu, made from Kyushu black beef tripe. The wine cellar is also fully stocked, and on top of the excellent dishes, the restaurant also has perfectly private rooms available. The restaurant is approximately ten minutes on foot from the Fukuoka City Subway, Kuko Line’s Tenjin Station.
