    古い駅舎をそのまま利用している所為もあって窮屈感があり、観光案内所も「みどりの窓口」に併設されているような位置関係でした。観光地の案内所としては手狭な印象が拭えませんでした。小樽駅が建て替えさらないなら、さっさと駅舎から出て移転した方が良さそうでしたが、今回は列車の到着が夕方となった為、他に利用者はおらずパンフレット類の調達だけなら問題はありませんでした。
