    An irori-yaki skewer barbecue restaurant located in Kamiyugi, Hachioji City, Tokyo. Diners are provided with skewers of vegetables, seafood, river fish, and specially raised hinadori (young chicken) to grill over an irori hearth placed in the center of a sunken kotatsu table. Hinatoriyama is also renowned for its fuku-fuku tofu-nabe, a hotpot dish which comes with a tofu specially made with Hokkaido soybeans and natural Minamidaitojima nigari bittern.

    土曜日予約をして行きましたが空いていました。こちらはコロナでも個室ですし、お料理は船で運ばれてきますし安心してお食事を楽しめました。お料理も美味しかったです。炭で自分たちで焼くスタイルです。炭焼き美味しいです。1人必ず1コース頼まないといけないのであまり食べれない方は多すぎると思いますが‥単品だけでもOKとかその辺融通が効くと良いと思います。

    This yakitori shop opened in 2016 and its yakitori made with fresh jiyodori chicken that is full of umami are carefully grilled over Tosa binchotan (high-grade charcoal produced from ubame oak) for outstanding consistency and juiciness. They also offer various other items on the menu such as their specialty 100% soba (buckwheat flour) noodles served on a basket steamer, mizutaki (chicken and vegetables boiled in plain water or dashi and served with dipping sauce) and shabu-shabu. Their popular skewers are “toridoki”—jiyodori chicken thigh and breast meat wrapped in skin. The relaxed ambience of an old Japanese-style house is also appealing.
