The lunchtime only roast beef broiled yukhoe donburi rice bowl is topped with rich egg yolk and a special sauce which further enhance the flavor. The Japanese architecture mixing the modern with nostalgia and the antique works of Western art create dining spaces that tell stories. The main dining area is a deep sea-themed circular counter. Along with their meal, diners can enjoy the magnificent technique of their chef. Ginza Ukai-tei serves creative teppanyaki cuisine made with select Kuroge Japanese Black beef and seasonal seafood and other ingredients singled out by the head chef.

    Good for celebrating and memorable days. But too much truffles for a meal though good for the price. Overall very good food and service. A good closing note for the year.

Most of the locally sourced ingredients they use are only available at group member shops, and there are five-star green paper lanterns hanging outside the store. One recommendation is their local squid specialty called ikejime-maikasashi that's only available from June to December.     This long established okonomiyaki restaurant, located in Nagarekawa Town, Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, was founded in 1958 and has been run by the same family for three generations. The restaurant has an old-fashioned appeal with its eye-catching red shop awnings and lanterns. Guests can enjoy the exhilaration of seeing the teppanyaki (food grilled on an iron plate) cooked right in front of your eyes on the hot iron plates set up at the counter. Taste the okonomiyaki unique to Hiroshima which has been loved by the locals since long ago starting with the Koshida special, packed full of meat, egg, squid tempura, green onion and noodles.

    They have both private rooms and counter seats. We chose to seat at the counter. Good atmosphere, Friendly staffs, Energetic chef, very delicious okonomiyaki and also good teppanyaki.
