There are numerous masterpieces on display that were donated by the Kuroda Family, former Lords of Fukuoka Domain, including a famous spear, the Nippon-Go, and numerous legendary swords.

A museum in Noko, Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City. From the museum's location atop a hill on Nokonoshima Island you can enjoy a great view looking out over Hakata Bay.
