"This aquarium is about eight minutes on foot from Esumi Station. Re-purposing the former Esumi Junior High School, it's home to about 150 varieties of crustaceans, including shrimp and crabs. Their ""Seafloor Exploration Sub"" is a tank with small shrimp and crabs modeled on a submarine. They also have unusual varieties like the Tasmanian Giant Crab, one of the largest in the world. The Susami Ocean Tank has a reproduction of the Guinness World Record holding mail box on the ocean floor, and their Marine Environment Learning Center conducts seasonal experiments with the creatures there."
