    A strawberry farm in Kinohara-cho, Gojo City. They cultivate their strawberries using low levels of pesticide and breeds include Asuka Ruby and Kotoka strawberries. You can enjoy 30-minutes of all-you- can-eat strawberry picking from mid-January to late May. They also sell strawberries and homemade jam and from July to early September offer pesticide free blueberries.

    At this tourist vineyard, you can pick grapes from mid-August to the end of September. The farm is replete with rainy weather facilities, ensuring you can have fun here no matter what the weather's like. The farm grows huge Kyoho grapes. Grape picking is all-you-can-eat and you are also allowed to purchase any grapes you pick that you don't eat and want to take home.

    歴史好きには非常に興味深いところです。南朝が吉野から賀名生の地に逃れ、最後を迎えた地です。江戸末期の天狗党にも関係しています。 実際に訪れてみると金峯山寺などのある吉野とは異なり、かなり質素な感じです。五条からのトンネルもなかった当時は本当に隔絶された地だったのでしょうか。

    奈良県農業研究開発センターで、果樹薬草研究センターという。よくわからないが広い施設である。 「柿博物館」(月曜休館)を除いて、研究施設で、普段一般人の見学は受け入れていないという。突然前触れ無しの訪問はよくない。 薬草の圃場はほぼトウキ畑とのこと。 秋に公開する機会があって、奈良県HPの該当ページに掲載するとのことであった。

    正月に五条に行った。葛城から五条に向かう途中にある変わった建物の博物館。巨匠安藤先生の設計だそうな！展示は縄文から現在なでの五條市の歴史が中心。このまちの盛衰が分かって見ると興味深い！

With a reputation almost as stellar as that of Kyoto, Nara is a must-visit for those searching for the remains of "traditional Japan." The largely green Nara city holds the majority of the prefecture’s treasures, such as the iconic Todai-ji Temple, in which a 15-meter tall Great Buddha sits, and Nara Park, where deer flock to befriend passersby. While mountains are by no means hard to come by in this area, for hiking with a reward, head to the Kii Mountains’ Yoshino district in spring, when the hillsides put on an impressive display of white and pink cherry blossoms.
