- Shizuoka Ito-shi Yawatano 1298-9
- A ten-minute walk from Izu-Kogen Station on the Izu-Kyuko Line. This liquor shop located in the Izu Kogen Highlands is surrounded by a row of cherry trees. They offer local Izu sake and craft beer including the popular Rashomon sake. Highly recommended is their specialty Ike sake. It's aged quietly for eight months in a warehouse and then sold for a limited period just once a year. They also sell classic nostalgic sweets and candies. The shop was the model for the Iida Saketen Liquor Shop that appeared in popular manga and anime Yuru Camp and in the shop you'll find stamps that are drawn from the comic.

- Shizuoka Atami-shi Chuocho 1-7
- "This sake shop has a distinctive heavy stone wall exterior, and is located close to the Atami City Office. They carry over 200 types of alcohol in a wide variety of types, including local Atami local brewed liquor, wine, beer, and sake. Their headliner product is ""Miya no Shizuku"", which gets its name from the protagonist in Konjiki Yasha, a novel set in Atami. The daiginjo, in which 50% of the yamada nishiki rice-one of the highest quality sake rices-is polished off, offers a sophisticated, high-class taste. It is a rare, prized sake that can only be obtained in a limited number of sake shops in Atami."

Shizuoka Areas
With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
