    A theme park located in the Futo area of Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture where visitors can experience a variety of plants and animals. In addition to 1,500 varieties of cacti and succulents gathered from around the world, the park also keeps and displays 120 species of animals, including cute capybaras. The park is famous for its capybara “rotenburo” (“open-air bath”) in winter, in which capybaras warm themselves in a piping hot bath. The park’s five greenhouses present cacti growing in emulations of South American, African, and other environments, and visitors can enjoy viewing rare species as well as cactus flowers. The park’s animal shows and opportunities for visitors to feed animals are also popular.

    This park is located next to Kawana Beach, a beautiful gravel beach with quiet waves that is especially popular with families. The beach is staffed with lifeguards during the beaching season which runs mid-July to late August. It also offers a number of convenient services and facilities including a variety of rentals services and coin lockers.

    ここは釣りで頻繁に来る場所です。灯台のある防波堤で釣りをしたりボートを借り湾で釣ったり、ダイビングの方たちもいて、 透明度がかなり良いです。防波堤の釣人は上手な人ばかりです。

    A park in Atami City with a deck plaza with tables and chairs in the open space so you can relax as you'd please as well as foot-baths and shops selling local goods. There are also a variety of limited time pop-up shops including cafes. The open spaces are also used for events such as the Nagahama Special Wakame Festival. It is a place for locals and tourists to come together and relax.

    伊豆、亀石峠をこえ、伊東-熱海に行くのに、休日なので、とんでもなく車渋滞。15時ころですので、たまに、休憩で利用します。多分、休日は、地場産品の販売やその他、露店など出店しており、休憩、買い物にはもってこいの場所です。気温が23℃くらいあり、暖かい陽気ですので、海の砂浜では、子供が、海水浴みたいな感じで、遊んでいました。。。

    A nature park located in Kawana, Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture centering on the 321 meter high Mt. Komuro. Visitors can ride a pay sightseeing lift to the top of the mountain. A wood deck on top of Mt. Komuro offers a sweeping 360 degree panorama of the area, including such sights as Mt. Fuji, Sagami Bay, the Boso Peninsula, and the islands of Izu. Lush with natural beauty, several promenades have been set up for strolling, and seasonally blooming flowers like camellias, cherries, Japanese apricot, and French hydrangea provide gorgeous scenery. From late April to early May, 100 thousand azaleas create a carpet of red; at their peak, the park holds an Azalea Festival.

    The park was designed to resemble a resort area in the northern Mediterranean Sea because of Atami's sister city relationship with Sanremo in northern Italy and the similarity of the topography and townscape.     This coastal nature park is located in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is famous for its namesake, Shiofuki-iwa, a sea cave that sprays seawater several meters into the air. The park is equipped with a footpath up to Shiofuki Observation Deck, where visitors can enjoy views of Shiofuki-iwa. Visitors can also enjoy gathering shellfish, snorkeling, and other activities on the rocky seashore. Visited by many tourists, the park has been selected by one of Ito's eight most scenic spots.

    Opened in 1977, this park is maintained as a park which symbolizes the desire of the citizens of Ito City for peace and happiness. There are many works exhibited in the park, mainly the “family” collection of work by a local sculptor, Kenji Shigeoka. You can also get an unbroken view of Miura Peninsula and Hatsushima Island from the park which overlooks Ito Bay—it will sooth your soul. The park is a 15-minute walk from Ito Station.

    A 15-minute walk from JR Ito Station. This memorial park is located overlooking Ito Port and features a bust of Miura Anjin as well as a monument dedicated to the San Buena Ventura western-style sailing ship. The bust is the work of local sculptor Kenji Shigeoka. Anjin Miura was an English navigation officer, English name William Adams, who drifted ashore in Japan in 1600 after a long voyage. He made great efforts to promote international trade including building Japan's first western-style sailing ship on the orders of shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu and was called the Blue-Eyed Samurai. Every summer they hold the Anjin Festival.

    A 20-minute walk from JR Ito Station, this park is surrounded by natural forest and the murmuring of the Ozawa River. In June, the park hosts an event for viewing genji botaru (Japanese fireflies), which are bred in the park.

    A park located just a two-minute walk from the Uchinomachi Bus Stop, a six-minute bus ride which goes to Shimoda from JR Ito Station. The park is located next to Ito City Hall. The park is said to inhabit the former hall of Ito Sukechika, feudal lord of Ito, and the park is home to a bronze statue of Ito Sukechika atop a horse. The park sits atop a small hill giving a great view from which you can see the remains of the Monomi-no-Matsu watchtower. In 1931 a monument engraved with a waka poem by poet Saishu Onoe was erected in the park and in 1971 a stone slap inscribed with a poem of Matsuo Basho was transferred to the park.

    This general-purpose park is along the coast of the Minami Atami. Additional facilities include the multipurpose gym (Minami Atami Marine Hall), tennis courts, training rooms, multipurpose squares and more. In the spacious Minami Atami Marine Hall, you can make use of the three volleyball courts, six badminton courts, one futsal court, or two basketball courts. There is also a martial arts arena, which can be used for judo, karate, kendo, and dancing.

    "This terrace within a water park, designed to look like a resort from the northern Mediterranean Sea. In one part of the water park, which stretches south from a sun beach, there is a multipurpose bathroom, benches and a monument. The sun beach where the blue ocean and white sand stretch on and the moon terrace are certified as ""holy land for lovers"", and the fountain established in front of the terrace is famous for being a place that lovers exchange vows of love. At night, the entire terrace is illuminated, making for a romantic mood. It is 10 minutes by car from Atami Station."
