    This center for tourism in Amagi serves as the front door to the many scenic spots of Yugashima, including the Mountains of Amagi, the Kanogawa River, and the Jouren no taki Falls. The center features a souvenir corner, a restaurant, and more. Guests at the restaurant are treated to all the Amagi Yamamoto wasabi they can eat.

    「浄蓮の滝」の駐車場にある土産物店兼お食事処。名産のわさびを中心とした品揃え。食事のメニューにもわさび丼がある。わさび丼には魅かれたがお腹が空いていなかったので外の売店でわさびソフト(400円)を購入。アイスはほんのり緑色。口に入れると少しだけわさびの香り。特別おいしいという訳ではないが話のネタにどうぞ。ちなみに修善寺駅の売店では同じようなわさびソフトが350円です。

    This port is located in Suzukawa-cho, Fuji City. It is the port closest to World Heritage Mt. Fuji. There are various marine products brought to port here, but it's particularly well known for shirasu(young sardines). There are fishermans' cooperative food halls nearby that serve shirasu-don (shirasu on rice). There are events held here like the Shirasu Matsuri in June and the Shirasu Kaido Fair in October.

    しらすで有名な漁港はほんの一部です。港沿いに散策すると、漁港食堂から対岸の富士と港のみえる公園までぐるっと回って1時間近くかかりました。

    This roadside station is located along the Fuji-Yui Bypass of National Route 1 in Gokanjima, Fuji City. It was the first roadside station built in Shizuoka Prefecture, and it offers a glorious view of Mt. Fuji. It is divided into inbound and outbound sides; the inbound side features a restaurant that has items like rice bowls using Suruga Bay's sakura shrimp, and vendors of souvenirs. And on the outbound side, there is a restaurant offering noodles and such.

    This roadside station on the side of National Route 136 is located at the southernmost end of Izu. It offers a full range of facilities including a farmer's market offering things such as seasonal fresh vegetables and fish, as well as a facility where visitors can experience the foot baths of Shimogamo Onsen. During odd months, the station holds events such as the Yu no Hana Free Bazaar. In addition to being a tourist destination, the market is also used by many locals as a place to socialize.

    This drive-in restaurant is located next to Exit 1 of Gotemba Interchange . on the Tomei Expressway. They offer a diverse menu including items such as set meals that include Mikuriya soba noodles, a local specialty, as well as sakura shrimp kakiage (tempura fritter) set meal, supplies of which are limited. The restaurant, which also accepts large groups and is equipped with parking spaces for full-sized busses, is visited by many tourists.

    This restaurant was obviously geared towards providing food for large groups, as testified by the number of buses parked outside and the number of tour groups (mainly Chinese) eating at the tables...

The shops have tourist information about the region and sell local products such as tea and mandarin oranges. You can also buy meals made with local Japanese yams (specialty of mariko) such as the Grated Yam Lunch Special and Shizuoka Oden Stew.

    店内の食事会場でクラウンメロン8分の1カットを試食。とても甘くてみずみずしさがありました。せめてハーフサイズのメロンが食べたかったです。お土産コーナーでは、静岡のいろいろなお土産が並んでいて、買い物をするのに迷うくらいです。隣の施設では、実際にクラウンメロンが販売されていました。

    This roadside drive-in can’t be missed, as it is right before your eyes at the Jogasaki-Iriguchi Intersection along National Route 135. True to its name, the best feature of this place is that it provides a lot of fun activities for dog lovers. The Doggie Deli stocked with homemade cuisine, under the supervision of a veterinarian, from which three flavors out of the six can be selected for take-out. One of the nicest products is the LOVE DOG cake, in which your pet’s name can be inscribed, but it is only available in-store. The drive-in is equipped with an approximately 1,500-meter outdoor dog-run, and an indoor dog-run for rainy days, as well as an obstacle official Inu-lympic Games course.

There are also hands-on classes where you can get personal experience with Kawane tea.

    Located a one-minute walk from Araimachi Station. One of the seven rent-a-cycle terminals on Lake Hamana Cycling Road, a cycling course that allows you to make a round trip around the Lake Hamana. It is divided into a general cycling course and an advanced cycling course, so not only people who want to enjoy cycling in earnest but also those who are not confident about their physical strength can enjoy a real ride. Due to its ease of access, it is appropriate place for starting one's ride. Customers may leave their rented bicycle at another terminal, but in that case, their security deposit is not returned.

    Located a 40-minute drive from the Hamamatsu Nishi Interchange, this cycling terminal is inside Imagire Taiken no Sato, Kaikokan in Araiumizuri Park. One of the seven rent-a-cycle terminals on Lake Hamana Cycling Road, a cycling course that allows you to make a round trip around the Lake Hamana. Its schedule of operations and closing follows that of Kaikokan. Customers may leave their rented bicycle at another terminal, but in that case, their security deposit is not returned. A special attraction of this terminal is that it offers a barbecue area and craft classes in addition to renting bicycles.

    The Tateyama-ji Onsen Bicycle Rental Terminal is located in the Kanzanji Onsen Tourist Association and is open 24 hours a day as a stopover point for cyclists, with restrooms, beverage vending machines, car parking, coin lockers, etc. Because of the relatively mild climate in Tateyama-ji Onsen, even in winter, it is a year-round cycling destination. For this reason, bicycles can be rented at any of the city's seven terminals, and bicycles can be dropped off between terminals for a guaranteed fee.
  • Bentenjima Seaside Park Terminal

    This rental cycle terminal is located in Bentenjima Seaside Park, which commands a view of the area's blue ocean as well as its famous red torii gate. Located close to JR train stations, the terminal rents city bicycles, mini velos, and mountain bikes. Bicycle paths are maintained along parts of Lake Hamana's complex shore, making it a perfect cycling destination. There are seven rental cycle terminals around Lake Hamana, and, after paying a security fee, you can leave your bike at any of the terminals when you are done riding. Lake Hamana is roughly 82 kilometers in circumference and can be ridden around in about six hours.
