    Ishikawa Pref. Nanaoshi Wakuramachi Part 65-1
    This is an art museum produced by a world famous pastry chef called Hironobu Tsujiguchi who is from Nanao City in Wakura Town, Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The facility has three sections: an exhibition of sugar artworks by Mr. Tsujiguchi, a “Café” that provides original sweets and a shop called the “Patisserie Boutique” that sells take-out items such as cakes and baked goods. Not only can visitors enjoy the fusion of sweets and art, but original sweets available only in Wakura are also popular.

    Located on a hill near Roadside Station Notojima, this art museum dedicated to glass art has an exterior appearance resembling a space station. Inside, the museum primarily displays glass art, including sculptures based on designs by Picasso and Chagall, Chinese Qing dynasty glasswork, and pieces by modern artists. The museum also holds special exhibitions which introduce all kinds of glass art. In the museum's garden, visitors can take in glass art as well as seasonal scenery and the sea off of Noto.

    An art museum around a five-minute taxi ride from JR Nanao Station. Distinguished by its seven domed roofs, the museum displays a collection of numerous works connected to the northern Ishikawa Prefecture region. The Ikeda Collection, consisting of works collected by Nanao City businessman Fumio Ikeda, forms the core of the museum's collection. The museum holds regular exhibitions and visitors can see a variety of works of art, including Mino ware, Karatsu ware, and other types of pottery, as well as Japanese paintings, sculptures, crafts, and more. There's also a high-definition video mini-theater which continuously screens documentary videos on the works of Nanao-born painter Hasegawa Tohaku.

    大人の入館料350円。小さな美術館で相応。 七尾出身の長谷川等伯の展示は常設ではなく、ビデオだけ鑑賞。少し残念。 桃山時代を代表する焼物として、織部焼と唐津焼の展示をしていた。期間毎にテーマ変わるそう。 和倉温泉の寄り道にのんびり鑑賞するのもあり。

    A museum along Prefectural Route 47 in Wakura-machi, Nanao City. The collection on display has almost 10,000 toys collected by the museum director over many years from the Meiji period to the 1960s. The Showa Museum recreates the look of the Showa period and along with the Toy Museum, which has toy cars, robots, and dolls on display they have a classic car display space.

    昭和の時代を暮らした人間にはとても懐かしい。 様々な展示物が懐かしい。 これは堪らない施設です。 かなりの展示物の数にビックリします。

    An aquarium located on the island of Notojima in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture which keeps and displays some 40 thousand sea creatures spanning around 500 species in several buildings by the shore. The aquarium focuses on creatures living around the Noto Peninsula, such as whale sharks, which swim in one of the largest aquarium tanks on the western side of Japan. The aquarium also holds a variety of shows, including a penguin walk, sea and river otter feedings, and dolphin and sea lion performances. The grounds also host a shop, restaurant, and sea fishing center.

Here visitors can experience the excitement of events such as the National Important Intangible Folk-Cultural Property-designated Kuma Kabuto 20th Day Festival’s parade of huge wakubata banners. At the museum, consisting of two buildings, visitors can watch festival videos and see exhibits of festival implements; they can also try carrying a wakubata banner.

In the Ranyukan greenhouse they have a variety of flowers and potted plants on display and for sale including orchids and cacti from around the world. The park has a growing house with 1200 different types of orchids as well as a shop selling local Noto specialty goods, a multipurpose museum, a park golf course, and a ground golf course.
