Art Museum

A glass art museum located on a hill close to Roadside Station Notojima. The museum's collection consists of some 400 pieces of modern glass art from around the world. The museum holds three to four month long special exhibitions on different themes and also conducts workshops in which participants can work with glass art. The museum provides fun activity sheets to elementary school aged children for them to enjoy while taking in the museum's art.

We enjoyed our visit to the glass art museum, but wonder why no photography was allowed. The exhibits are beautiful, the museum is well-laid out, and the air conditioning worked well.
