    Sakae Shokudo in Asahi Town, Shimoniikawa County, Toyama Prefecture is a famous restaurant for the local specialty tarajiru (cod soup). A building with countryside atmosphere, it stands on National Route 8 which is also called Tarajiru Kaido. Its tarajiru for which large chunks of cod are stewed in white miso (soybean paste) has a mild taste but not fishy taste. This superb and hearty dish has both simplicity and the dynamics of a unique fisherman’s dish. There is a range of menu items including oyakodon (a rice bowl with chicken and eggs), katsudon (a rice bowl topped with cutlets) and set meals. The side menu items are help-yourself style from a display case.

    ２人前で鍋ごとたら汁が出て来て、すごく量が多かった。他にたらこ煮も頼んだが、両方とも上品な薄味でおいしかった。あじフライも頼んだが、揚げたてで出て来た。ケース内におかずがたくさん並んでいて、希望すれば温めてくれる。お茶はセルフサービスで、店構えはお世辞にもきれいではなく、田舎の食堂といった感じなので、店のことを知らなければ行かないかも知れない。

    This restaurant on the second floor of Tateyama Ropeway's Kurobedaira Station features great views of Mt. Akasawadake and the other peaks of the Tateyama Mountain Range. In the fall excursion season, guests can enjoy views of the autumn foliage that fill the restaurant's windows. The restaurant is also a great place to spend time while waiting for a transfer. The restaurant's most popular item is its Kurobe Genryu set, which includes Himi udon noodles and a mini shiroebi-don (Japanese glass shrimp served on rice). Only 20 of these sets are available per day. Other offerings include their Yuki no Otani (Snow Wall) curry, which uses rice and fukujinzuke pickles to represent a wall of snow and Jigokudani (Hell Valley) respectively, coffee made with Kurobedaira's spring water and other treats unique to Kurobedaira.

    This restaurant is located on the second floor of the Hotaruika Museum adjacent to the Namerikawa fishing port. The ocean-facing side of the restaurant features an all-glass wall that allows diners to enjoy views of Toyama Bay along with their food. Their cuisine is made with a variety of ingredients that represent Toyama Prefecture, including fresh seafood from Toyama Bay, Toyama-buta pork, and more. In particular, the restaurant is popular with tourists for its great selection of fried, tempura, and other dishes made with firefly squid, the area's specialty. Each July, the restaurant extends its hours so that guests can watch the fireworks launched from the shore during the Hometown Ryugu Festival.

    ほたるいかミュージアムの隣にあります。ホタルイカをいろいろな食べ方で出してくれるレストランです。海側は大きなガラス張りで、日本海を眺めながら食事をとることが出来ます。 蛍烏賊御膳とホタルイカのパスタを頂きました。御膳にはホタルイカの天ぷらや酢の物もついていて、パスタも含めてなかなか食べられない、食べ方でホタルイカを味わうことが出来ました。

    This shop located in side Roadside Station Hosoiri is a 30-minute drive from Hokuriku Expressway Toyama Interchange. It offers a broad range of special products from Etchu and Hida including rakkyozuke (pickled Japanese leek), Hagiya Keichan (a brand of precooked flavored chicken), Toyama Black ramen, and more. The food court serves many different local delicacies, such as shiroebi kakiage (broad velvet shrimp tempura) udon noodles, Hosoiri vegetable soba noodles, and Hida beef croquettes. One of the shop's most popular exclusives is their soft-serve ice-cream topped with honey raised from Japanese horse-chestnut flowers. Behind the shop there is an Astroturf slope for enjoying sledding even when the snow has melted, an athletic playground, and more. Each of these facilities is free to use.

    留学生を受け入れていたので 一緒に連れて行った。どれもヘルシーなことに驚いていた。 この日のシェフランチは牡蛎の生姜鍋。体の芯から温まりおいしかった。デザートやドリンクも体に優しいものばかり。

    All of the water in this hot spring bathhouse is natural spring water pumped from underground. The mineral ion ore artificial hot spring, radium ore artificial hot spring (outdoor bath), and bedrock bath can all be used on day trips. On clear days, you can watch the sun rise over the distant Tateyama Mountain Range. You can ask for information on sunrise times and Tateyama mountain viewing.

    生け簀の鮎を揚げて、焼く前に生の状態で目の前で見せてもらいました。 鮎の釜飯が食べたかったのですが、1時間かかるとのことで諦めて、五品セットを注文。新鮮で美味しい鮎です。少し小ぶりサイズでした。10センチくらいでしょうか。 ボックス席を案内されて着席したのですが、もし予約席の表示がなかったら、焼き場前のカウンター席がずっと焼いているところを観れるので、おすすめします。

    久しぶりにやよい軒へ。以前は各テーブルに漬物が置いてありましたが、現在はお代わりコーナーに置くようになったんですね。漬物もお代わり自由なので、御飯を食べ過ぎちゃいます。

    一人だったので 気軽に食べられるこちらのお店へ。チェーン店なので、どこで食べても同じ味で安心。普通に家のごはんみたいけど バランスよく食べられるし、たまには良いかも。

    近くにお店が無かったのでドリンクバーだけで利用しました。 ランチ時間のピークは終わった後でしたが7割くらい席が埋まっていて、混んでました。 日替りランチのメニューがありましたが、とても安かったです。

    格安ファミレスの代表格。採算がとれるのかと心配になるランチの価格。冷凍チンものかと勘ぐりたくなるような味ですがロードサイドの利便性と経済面で有り難い存在です。

    8号線沿いに立地しているため、アクセスがいいです。8番らーめんやココイチ、ゆで太郎などのチェーン店が隣接しているため昼に迷ったらとりあえずこのエリアで済ませます。広い店内で、昼時でも混雑しておらず快適でした。
