- Five minutes by car from Shin-Hanamaki Station. A restaurant located along the parking lot for the Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Museum. Modeled after the “Restaurant of Many Orders” appearing in Miyazawa’s fairy tales, diners can enjoy a meal while feeling like they are in the world of Miyazawa’s stories. Popular menu items include hearty Ihatov set meal, which comes with kakuni stewed cubes of Hakkin pork and seasonal tempura; as well as the Yamaneko suiton set—suiton, a soup with flour dumplings, is a local Hanamaki dish. Visitors can also purchase original merchandise themed after the works of Miyazawa, making the restaurant a must-visit for fans of the author.

店内はペット不可でしたので、相談したら外のベンチに食事を運んでもらい、トイプードルと一緒に食事できました。とても親切な従業員でした。

道の駅しずくいしの中、産直品を売っている先にひっそりとあるレストランに入ってみました。 雫石牛を使ったメニューが多かったですが気になったらわさび冷麺。９５０円と少し高めですがおろしたてのわさびが冷麺と相まっておいしかったです。

ホールのおばさんに腹が立ちます。食べた食器をすぐもっていかれます！おさげしてよろしいですか？といいながら、こっち側がハイッと言う前にさっさと手を伸ばして持っていきます。なんか、いかにも早く帰れ的な感じで気分悪くしました。水も少し減っただけで、入れられるし、。声も大きければいいってものでもないと思います。料理を運んでくれる若いスタッフさんがとても良かったです。
