    This is a complex containing both industrial and tourism facilities in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture. The hall has exhibitions, such as a model of the only 48-inch shell in the world, Ojiyasode and Echigo Katakai Indigo Dye, and other traditional woven materials from Ojiya City. There are also items for sale and an experience workshop and gallery, where visitors can learn about the techniques used to make these materials. There is also a Hegi soba restaurant and a shop where visitors can purchase local specialties such as Sasa dango, and Ojiya Shikisai, which is made from five different colors of udon noodles, reflecting Ojiya's famous woven materials. Finally, there is also a hall available for meetings and training programs.

    小千谷縮の着物を身につけて訪ねました。中世に遡る小千谷縮の歴史や、小千谷縮の風合いが生まれるまでの数々の工程や細やかさを知り、勉強になりました。機織り体験日もあるようで、残念ながら外していましましたが、職員の方に丁寧に説明して頂きました。 小千谷縮のショップに、お土産屋さんも充実しています。

    This sightseeing facility in Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture provides information on the Iwamuro Onsen (hot spring) region’s history, traditions, culture, and tourist spots. There’s a tourism information area, a rest area, a footbath, a dining hall serving local cuisine such as the famous “kensayaki” and “rice flour ramen,” making it great as a pit stop on drives. There are also regional specialty products and souvenirs for sale. The plaza and exhibition room of the “Dento Bunka Denshokan (Traditional Culture Museum)” host various seasonal events.

    This tourist information center is located directly in front of Echigo-Yuzawa Station. Managed by the Echigo-Yuzawa Hot Spring Tourist Association it mainly focusses on Yuzawa Town but also has information for Minamiuonuma City, Uonuma City, Tokamachi City, and Tsunan Town in Niigata as well as Minakami Town in Gunma and Sakae Village in Nagano. They have information for everything from winter sports to regional specialties, snow country cuisine, and traditional arts and crafts. From events and activities to food and where to stay they'll be able to help you plan your trip.

    This market offers about 300 kinds of merchandise including marine products, vegetables, bread, bento (boxed meals), and souvenirs so that visitors can experience the charm of Kashiwazaki to the fullest. The internal eating area offers a wide variety of delicious menu items unique to Kashiwazaki, such as fisherman's seafood bowl made with fresh seafood. Yumi has a great location right in front of the ocean, one of the charms of Yumi, and the terrace overlooks the Sea of Japan. The center also has Kashiwazaki tourist brochures and provides sightseeing guidance as well.

    JR直江津駅駅舎を出ると線路沿いにほんの少しだけ歩くと見つけることが出来ます。パンフなども手に入れることが出来ます。私自身はレンタサイクルのお店を紹介していただきました。
