This is a theater that conducts performance of rakugo (Japanese comedic storytelling) year-round. In addition to rakugo, there are also programs that include manzai (two-person comedy acts), skits and imitations. After opening in 1964, it gained popularity as a hall for comedy and famous artists such as Kinichi Hagimoto, “Beat” Takeshi and Kiyoshi Atsumi often performed there. Although there is a daytime part and a night-time part, there is no restriction on choosing one or the other so visitors can watch for the entire day. There is also a shop that sells bento lunch boxes, drinks and other merchandise. Tickets are only available for purchase on the day of the show.

Located to the west of Sensoji Temple, it is said that this was Japan's first amusement park. When it opened in 1853 it was a flower garden, there is a distinctive retro atmosphere in the park that can only be made from the long history of Hanayashiki. The Space Shot scream machine is the park's oldest, most thrilling ride, and will blast you 60 meters into the air. From the top you can see out over Asakusa. It's a popular spot with families and couples.

Japan's only theater for traditional rokyoku storytelling accompanied by shamisen music, the Mokubatei is also used for kodan storytelling, comedy, rakugo comedic storytelling, minyo folk songs, and other theater and music performances. Tickets are often half price for customers age 25 and under, and long-standing fans and younger people enjoy performances together.

昭和の映画館を思い出す座席でした。こういった雰囲気は久しぶりだったので、昭和生まれには懐かしい感じです。今回は隣の席が空いていましたが、結構肘とか腕はあたりそうです。演者さんが低い位置にいると、座席によって見にくいので、席を選ぶ時気をつけるとよいかもしれません。ただ、演者さんと近いので臨場感がいい劇場ですね。浅草寺や花やしきも近いし、浅草を散歩しながら楽しめるスポットでした。

Opened in 2001, the Ikenami Shotaro Memorial Museum is dedicated to popularizing the achievements and works of Japanese author Shotaro Ikenami, who published numerous historical novel masterpieces. The museum has a collection of various materials and items relating to the author's works, a recreation of his study, as well as manuscripts and paintings created by the Ikenami's own hand. The facility also has a historical novel library.

A 10 minute walk from Asakusa Station. The Asakusa France-za Engeijo Toyokan is a performing arts theater in Asakusa-koen Rokku. Known simply as the Toyokan, the theater is famous as the place where comedian, actor, and director Beat Takeshi got his start. Today, the theater primarily holds variety shows of manzai and mandan comedy, while its sister theater in the same building, the Asakusa Engei Hall, is used mainly for traditional rakugo comedic storytelling; together, they carry on a history of comedy culture in the Asakusa area. Performances are conducted 365 days a year, ensuring you can enjoy a performance any day the mood strikes you. An afternoon performance is held daily from 12:00 p.m.; consisting of 15 to 20 groups of performers and comedians, a new group is sure to come on before you ever get bored with the current one.

いつもイベントの出展者として利用しています。場所は銀座線浅草駅からすぐですし、浅草寺にも近く、わかりやすい立地です。建物も清潔感があり、エレベーターもたくさんあるので人が多くても乗れないということは割と少ないと思います。ただエレベーターは端っこのものは止まる階が限定されていたりするので、すべてが全ての階に止まるエレベーターではない点だけお気をつけて！（止まる階の数字が書いてあるので大丈夫です）

東上野の永寿総合病院の南側に広がる公園です。下谷神社を見た後、御徒町方面へ向かう途中に見つけました。雰囲気としては昔学校だった校庭に、木や遊具が点在している感じで、込み合う街中では少し広めに思います。天気のいい昼過ぎだったこともあり、ベンチで休む人や遊ぶ子供たちを多く見かけました。
