    This urban park selected as one of Japan's 100 best is among the finest in Tochigi Prefecture. The park covers 93.3 hectares of hilly terrain with mixed groves of trees including jolcham oak, sawtooth oak, and Japanese red pine that surround the central Igashira Pond. The park's Ichimannin Pool water park and its boating pond are especially popular. Some of the park's other facilities include a rose garden, an alpine plant greenhouse, and an athletic field.

    This park is located in Shimotsuga County, Tochigi Prefecture. Visitors to its massive grounds can feel the park's seasons through its seasonal flowers as they move their bodies to their hearts content on its athletic play equipment or its grassy fields. The park features many facilities that children can enjoy, including the Kid's Castle, which features a popular ball pool, and the Mystery Boat, where kids can experience eight different mysterious phenomena.

    道の駅みぶに車を停めて、道路を渡るとすぐ目の前にありました。かなり広い公園で、トレインも走っていますが、混んでいて乗れませんでした。有料の舟などもありましたが、芝生にシートを敷いて、テントを立てて過ごす方が多く、キッチンカーもあったので、ランチはそれで済ませました。子供が沢山遊べる空間でした。帰りは道の駅で野菜を購入もでき、便利。

It's arranged like a strolling garden and has a Western style sunken garden centered on a pond, as well as a Japanese garden. Their Green Consultation Center holds horticultural exhibits and other events. The Tochigi Prefectural Museum is also on the grounds."

    12月に池に反射するメタセコイアを見に行きました。 一部紅葉も残っていて、遊歩道や日本庭園エリアも楽しめました。 水辺が多く、ウォーキングに最適です。

    A park located in Shioya County, Tochigi Prefecture. Situated on the flood plain of the Kinu River, visitors to the park's vast grounds can enjoy a variety of leisure facilities, including rental bicycles, an aquatic obstacle course, a baseball field, and tennis courts. Various seasonal flowering plants bloom in the park, and many visitors come to view the park's field of cosmos when they blossom in October. Straddling the Kinu River, the park is divided into the Hoshakuji area on the left bank and the Shirasawa area on the right bank.

    Great park that attract less attention. The water athletic is with very interesting and challenging to teenagers, even our 6 years old kid is enjoying very much with most of the climbs.

    Established in December 1934 this is one of the first national parks in the country. It is home to many mountains such as Mt. Shirane, the highest mountain in the northern Kanto region, Mt. Nantai famous as a place of mountain worship, the active volcano Mt. Nasudake, the scenic landscapes of historic buildings and the majestic valley of the Kinugawa River basin are spectacular. Many tourists and mountain climbers visit when the autumn leaves change colors every year. There are several visitor centers and museums in the area which exhibits the ecosystems, nature and organisms of Nikko National Park, offers guided tours (some at a fee), and offers a snowshoe rental service during snow season (for a fee).

    The park is located in Kamikake-cho, Utsunomiya City, and is a historic site park developed around the Nekoyadai Ruins (designated as a national historic site), a large-scale settlement site from the early Jomon period that was discovered during excavations for the construction of the adjacent cemetery, Seizan Koen.     "The Shiobara Imperial Villa was used as a summer retreat by many members of the imperial family from the Meiji to Showa period including Emperor Yoshihito, Emperor Hirohito, Prince Takamatsu, and Prince Mikasa. Part of the villa, the Tenno no Ma (meaning ""emperor's room""), was relocated in its original form to its current location in 1981 where it is preserved as part of a memorial park. The building has also been designated as a prefectural tangible cultural asset of Tochigi."

    大人200円の入園料が必要です。きれいに手入れされた庭園を見ることができます。 ただ周辺の紅葉と比べると物足りなさもありますが、色づいたは庭は美しく、観光客もいないのでゆっくりこのお屋敷で過ごす満足感はあります。

The majestic sight of the surrounding peaks jutting out from a sea of fog when conditions are right which unfolds just beyond the plain has even been dubbed the ""Matsushima islands of the land"" in allusion to an archipelago famous for its scenic beauty. A sightseeing road makes it possible to visit Mt. Ohira in the center of the park, the Zuishinmon Gate of Ohirasan Shrine, and the approach to the shrine (the Ajisaizaka hill road). On clear days, visitors to the plateau can see all the way to distant Mt. Tsukuba, the skyscrapers of Tokyo, and Mt. Fuji from an observatory."

The park also has amusements for children including a ferris wheel and electric train, making this a popular spot for family outings as well as field trips for kindergartens and elementary schools. The Senjuin Temple on site enshrines the Thousand Hand Kanzeon Bodhisattva.

    ゴンドラがわずか10個の観覧車など小さな子供向けの遊具が4つある公園ですが、その名の由来となった16世紀創建の千手院や仁王門、千住観音堂なども敷地内にあり大人も子供も楽しめる公園だと思います。

    This massive park is the size of five Tokyo Domes. The park has many cherry blossoms including the 170 year-old Tsuga no Satozakura that symbolizes the park, as well as weeping cherries, Yoshino cherries, and double-flowered cherries. They bloom one after the other in April, tinting the park in shades of pink and white for nearly almost a full month. In June, visitors can see the park's 3,000 lotus flowers beautifully bloom. The park includes facilities such as the Furusato Center, the Family Park, and the Fureiai no Mori. It serves as a place of rest and relaxation for many people.

Most visits to Tochigi revolve around Nikko, a small city home to the spectacular, lavishly decorated Toshogu Shrine and Nikko National Park with its mountains, lakes, waterfalls, onsen, and wild monkeys. Neighboring Oku-Nikko is an extension of the fantastic scenery famous for its autumn leaves, while Tochigi’s capital, Utsunomiya, is the only place in the world where you can find oya stone beautifully exhibited in temples and the Oya History Museum.
